Made a reservation earlier in the day so our party wouldn’t have to wait, but to no avail. We were seated 15 minutes after our reservation and an hour later we still had no food. Luckily they were able to serve one round of drinks before our food came.

Terrible. In chronological order: Asked for a high chair. Got a booster seat with no straps - couldn’t strap my son in or attach him to the booth. He almost tipped over twice and would have fallen if i wasn’t holding on to him. My husband’s cheeseburger had the paper still in between the slices of cheese. My pork tacos had no flavor at all yet the beans were oddly spicy. I was sick all night and assume it was from the food because I felt fine before dinner.

Extremely dissapointed cold food, service was terrible understaffed etc. We’ve been to ironhill in Hershey and that experience was amazing compared to Philadelphia.

We arrived at our reservation time and were asked to wait about 5 minutes because there were not enough servers. We waited 10 min which was fine and were seated. We were waited on fairly quickly. But….it was downhill from there. Had tasted a couple of beers and then the one I ordered took forever to come. We had ordered our food. The beer came and all of a sudden ALL the food showed up. The appetizer soups were hot but the French dip was cold. The sweet potato fries were cold. The au jus was lukewarm. The onion soups were hot but the shrimp and grits would be cold by the time we finished the soup. Likewise the ribs. Just as well, because the shrimp were all undercooked. Like get sick kind of undercooked. One was still quite gray in color. The grits were lukewarm at best. We paid for the drinks and left. Our primary wait person (forgot her name but she is from Connecticut) was very kind and did the best she could do under the conditions. The kitchen could not keep up. The place was PACKED. This is the very first time we have ever walk out on a meal. Better to limit the number of patrons than to throw the staff under the bus , kitchen and servers. We were horrified.

Our server was excellent; very attentive and paid special attention to our requests concerning drinks and food preferences. The atmosphere is very nice, comfortable and fun. Good variety of menu choices. I would definitely visit again.

This place is nice and cozy. Their menu offers a twist off your common appetizers and entrees. If you are looking for a place in Center City for a good bite and a cold custom brand of beers, then this is your place.

Server was very nice but our food took way too long…appetizer came out 45 minutes after ordering and meals at about 55 minutes. They definitely were not prepared for the crowds.

Was in Philadelphia for a volleyball tournament, stopped in as we were walking around the city. Got seated quickly and the service was great, food was amazing and the beers were nice and cold. Would definitely recommend going there if you’re in the area. I would definitely go back for the food, service and ambience.

The food at Iron Hill was good. The service was incredibly poor. Waiter was rarely around. We were seated and waited 15 minutes for him to even come around. Never refilled water even after asking for more. We were all done eating and waited 15 minutes. We were there celebrating my kids birthday. When I finally hot his attention I just gave him my credit card rather than wait for bill. We would have ordered desert but we were worried about the wait again. I just paid and we went somewhere else for dessert. Burgers were good but nachos were very cold. Pretzel was very good as well as calamari. Overall food was good, just the service was honestly terrible. Not sure if I’d go back when there are so many options in the city.

We went for lunch the burger is always good and the fries are the best, onion soup was very good the salad was just ok the dressing was not very good. We eat here very often and service is very good, I wish the menu had more options.

I like this restaurant; I bring all of my business associates to this location. My favorite peeps are Ell, Cashmere, and Zamere' they always make my business associates feel comfortable, and they always notice my team.

Kind of a gross place. Super loud, very mediocre food. We made a reservation but still had to wait for 15 minutes for a table when there were many obviously open tables. My wife ordered a Martini, which was room temperature, and only about half full. The food was not very good. The roasted brussels sprouts seemed like they’ve been deep-fried. If you’re just looking for a casual place to have a beer and some mediocre food, it’s probably okay. The one bright spot is our server was solid.

Great place for a large group. Food and drinks were very good and we didn’t have to wait long for them to be delivered. However, it took quite a while for our server to come by, and they weren’t able to split the check into individual checks for a table of 6, which seemed unusual and made it more challenging since it was a work dinner.

I’ve been here before and have had good experiences. This time something was different: the food took 50 minutes after ordering. There was no communication from the server about what was happening. And then it came out for some (of my party of six) but not others, who had to wait an additional 5-10 minutes, leaving those of us who received our food to decide if we should start, or be polite and wait while our food gets cold.

Good food and beer as always. They did a good job of managing the St. Patrick's Day crowd. It was a first visit for our friend and he enjoyed his food and beer.

First time going to Iron Hill. I’m not an IPA guy but their light lager was about the best beer I’ve had. The pork chop was also incredible. Will definitely go back again.

The food is good. The hostess stand situation was atrocious. Waited almost an hour for a table even though we had a reservation. Hostess was very rude.

I ordered the turkey burger and my husband ordered the fish and chips. Both were delicious and plentiful. The turkey burger was made with white meat as opposed to a mixture of white and dark meat. It was hot and juicy. My husband's fish and chips were nice size pieces of white fish, thick too, with an appropriate amount of batter. Our server, Eric, was very helpful with our questions and everything we asked for came out as expected.

Mushroom soup was warm. Could have used a few more seconds on the microwave. My partner's shrimp bucatini was good. He liked it. I had a salad with mesclun greens. Come on, guys! Wash the greens and pick out the dead leaves. Don't make me build a pile of slimy stuff on the table. Also the apples in the salad had been in a chemical preservative solution that was extremely citrusy. Granny Smith apples belong in pies, not salad. Too tart! So many good apples out there.
