This is one of my fav restaurants in Newark and I was kind of shocked of how I was treated by the host. Got there around 7:05 reservation was for 7:15 .. there was a big group of like 16 ppl was behind us that ran to the host first which i didn’t care but they got seated before me and they didn’t have a reservation. When I asked the host why I haven’t been seated she gave an attitude and walked away and then another young lady came and seated us. Other than that waiter was great and food was great but didn’t like I was treated by the host or whoever she was!

We sat in a separate room and it was quiet for our party of 8. Our waiter was very attentive and did a great job. The floors around and under our table were v dirty from previous guests One of our meals was extremely late arriving and had to be taken off the bill Food was average at best - nothing great. I will not return to this location

This was my worst experience at Iron Hill yet and it happened to be for Mother's Day brunch. Spilled drinks due to being seated at a broken table that was super off-level, long wait for drinks, wrong order sent and server wanted to argue that I did order it and I didn't, then the replacement of wrong order never came, was given negative remark about spilled drink that it was our fault although nobody was sitting on that side of table when it spilled due to, once again, the broken table.

Service was perfect. We were early for our reservations and were taken early with no wait. The server was attentive and helpful. Our food was hot, tasty and brought out at the same time for our large party. We also visited on a Thursday which is a busy night on college campus but the restaurant was able to accommodate us all.

It was perfect!! We had an amazing server and the food came out on time and everything. The place was a little dark but the atmosphere was so lovely.

Food is good, and consistent. Service can be spotty. We frequent Iron Hill at least once a semester with family. For the second visit in a row, one entree (it was a burger) was MUCH delayed. Delayed so much that most of the people in family was almost finished when it was served. This is the original Iron Hill and it's time for a remodel and upgrades to the AC. Portable units were place in the dining areas to help with the obviously over taxed AC.
