Bienvenue à Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant à Chestnut Hill. We made a reservation and still had to wait for a table for 15 minutes and then others were seated at our table! Our server was horrible. She brought the wrong wine, the wrong entree and took forever to bring us the bill. The chicken tacos (which was supposed to be the chicken quesadilla) was awful. All lettuce and tiny pieces of chicken.

I had a reservation for 6:30 on Mother’s Day, I completely understand how busy it is to dine out, so we arrived at the restaurant and waited 15 minutes to be seated, which again, is totally acceptable for such a busy night. We were seated at approximately 6:45 and that’s where our dining experience ended. There was a table on the other side of the aisle as us who had a waitress and a table in front of also with a waitress. 5 or 6 waiters and waitresses walked past our table and completely ignored us. In this time, the music inexplicably got twice as loud, which was bizarre, this isn’t a club. We gave them until 7:25 at which time we got up and left. We’ve actually gone to Iron Hill on three different Mother’s Day and never had such bad service, or lack there of. Luckily, we went across the street to Campbell’s Place and were seated and had an excellent dinner.

Food was just thrown on a plate and nothing come out of the kitchen correct. Steak tasted of nothing but pepper, tacos were horrible, and the soup was flavorless. The servers seemed to be inconvenienced by having to do their jobs. Definitely will not be returning, nor would I recommend this to anyone else.

I am a member. We go a lot to the north wales branch. Yesterday was a complete disaster. The waitress was mostly the problem. From forgetting to put our orders. From ordering the wrong things. From bringing us the appetizer (after forgetting), without the dips, exc.. When we did get some of the order it was cold. We were seven. I never got mine but still it showed on our bill. The manager gave us a discount of 1/3 from the meal. It should have been free, in our opinion. When we left , the next table talked to us- they experienced the same problem. Yes- it was Mother’s Day. Yes, it was packed. They should have been ready for that. We will take a rest from Ironhill for sometime. Hopefully we’ll be back to our branch.

Went for Mother’s Day brunch. It appears they don’t serve breakfast food regularly and may have been overwhelmed by the crowd. It took almost an hour for our food to come out eggs , bacon, etc and the food was cold, we were almost finished before the children’s pancake order came out. Will give it another try during a different time.

Staff always very pleasant. I had chicken gumbo, horrible. Rice wasn’t cooked well. Spicy! Did not eat.
