Fireside Room
The cozy round s[pace nestled into the Hotel Sorrento's lobby hosts live piano on weekends, our famous Silent Reading Parties, and seasonal high teas. Join us for dinner or or brunch! Please note, the Fireside Room becomes 21+ when we turn down the lights and open the bar at 4 o'clock sharp seven days a week.

The Garden
Opening April 29th, the Garden is the Hotel Sorrento's al fresco dining. Our herbaceous and floral patio is available for sunny brunches, and twinkles in the candlelight through dinner service.

    We were running late (traffic) and they worked with us. Once seated, service was slow. My friend found a hair in the Cobb salad along with undercooked bacon. Offered to remake salad, we declined. They removed salad from check.

    Great staff at Stella! Drinks, food and entertainment were spot on. Minh made the Friday afternoon sassy, and Gearmo made brunch fun!

    Love coming here. It has been awhile and it is as fabulous as I remembered. I will plan to come back More often.

    Felt like a little hidden gem in the city, the ambiance was quiet and relaxing. Wished the outdoor patio was open it looked really nice like Emily in Paris vibes. Overall the staff were really friendly and attentive.

    Eating at Stella is a joy. I go frequently for brunch on Sundays, and there is a quality of elegance of environment and cuisine mixed with personal warmth of the servers that is unique and delightful!

    The food was good, different flavors used yet still simple enough and tasty. Was disappointed that happy hour was advertised but there was no special food or drink pricing available, did not quite understand this. Service was a little slow, but it was a Wednesday, late afternoon (4pm) so maybe that is the reason. The draft beer selection was limited to just three, but several can/bottle options available.

    Hello, Thank you for visiting and taking the time to leave this review! I'm sorry to hear you were disappointed; we don't offer a "Happy Hour", but rather "Aperitivo Hour" that focuses on aperitivo style cocktails in the traditional style I apologize that that wasn't made clear. Unfortunately, OpenTable limits us as to what we can name certain hours so we do our best to inform our guests ourselves. Additionally, we're limited to the space allowed in a 115 year old bar, so we try to enhance our beer program with the bottles and can you mentioned instead of kegs. I am glad to hear you enjoyed the dishes, though, and I hope you'll join us again for our more traditional style Italian inspired menu! Thank you for your patronage and feedback.     I wanted to eat at Stella for a long time, don’t live near downtown. The atmosphere outside was very nice and I loved being there until my meal came. My husband and I ordered similarly priced items. He ordered the burger and I chose the vegetarian portobello. His order was huge! Mine, overly small. They didn’t even use a whole portobello for my meal. It tasted fine, nothing special. So disappointing! I did also get the soup and dessert which were good.

Regarding portion sizes, we're continuing to fine tune our latest seasonal menu, so your feedback is appreciated. I hope you'll return to the garden as summer continues for our weekend brunch; the French Toast is a crowd favorite, and has been a staple through the seasons.
