Hook & Ladder is the unexpected steakhouse you’d never thought you’d find in the historic, original firehouse of the Washington Fire Company. This is a one-of-a-kind Skybar experience allowing guests a close view of our 149 year old firehouse, bell tower and original stained glass windows. A unique cross between a chop house and Crudo bar, Hook & Ladder features Certified A5 Japanese wagyu beef that will melt in your month. Dry aged Steak offerings including 32 days dry aged Porterhouse (28oz), 32 days aged Tomahawk Ribeye (40oz) that will taste decidedly beefy, much like a rare roast beef, while also taking on subtler hints of other delicious flavors. Crudo uses the Japanese technique of curing the fish making it more tender and flavorful. Finishing it with lime, lemon, and soy; featuring Wild King Salmon, Japanese Madai, Hamachi and more. Enjoy the purest and fresh take on some classic cocktails.

Nice hidden gem in Conshy, a bit more upscale than the usual, food and service were great!!

The food was HORRIBLE. The service was Horrible as well. the food took 1 hour to be served even tho they were not busy. PLEASE do not go and waste your money.

I came with some friends who had never been to Hook & Ladder before, and as usual none of us were disappointed. We started with 2 orders of truffle fries, 2 orders of cheesesteak eggrolls, and 2 orders of the sliders. We all had rounds of drinks of margaritas, cosmopolitans, and another drink I can't remember, but it was very good. Entrees consisted of 2 orders of the braised beef ribs, 2 orders of the seared sea scallops, and an order of ginger scallion sea bass. Also, there were 3 orders of the cream spinach, and everything was cooked to perfection. The server, whose name I can't remember was awesome. We then ended with dessert of pecan pie, and the chocolate cake....both were soooooo yummy.

Just meh. Our service was really good but the food is very mediocre. And, while the drinks are properly done, they are quite expensive. You are paying for the exclusive vibe, I guess. We'll go somewhere else as soon as there are other options.

We sat in the outdoor space. The drinks were great. Can't beat enjoying a beautiful day with a martini.

Michelle was a great server! Very attentive, personable, and friendly. The atmosphere and space is all beautiful and even the bar area is phenomenal. Overall, the space is incredible. The food, unfortunately, was not worth the price tag. Fish and sauces were quite salty.
