The historic building dates back to 1682 - a full renaissance of the property was completed in 2018 from its previous luster as the once prominent Lavendar Hall - an icon of Bucks County's past. We offer a combination of modern and classic comfort foods in a vibrant, upscale casual atmosphere just 3 minutes from Newtown Borough. Seated outside on a nice evening. Spring menu is very good and I was glad to see fried goat cheese was still on starter menu. Scallop entree and Berkshire pork chop were our dinner choices and they came out in perfect condition. Very good wine by glass selection. Dan, our server, was very attentive and professional.

If you are looking for a fantastic place to dine alfresco, look no further than The Grey Stone. This venue is absolutely gorgeous but then there’s the delicious food, drinks and dessert! Try it once, love it forever!

Server messed up our entire order. Food has too many odd flavorings. Outdoor area was nice, not worth the oddness of flavors on all the food.

We frequent Grey Stone because we know that everything we have had will be outstanding and they have not let us down on anything new either. The staff is always wonderful and attentive to us and our groups. We love this place and highly recommend to couples and groups!

Food was fantastic. Service was very good. Troubles began when check was being paid. On their credit card receipt, the is a service charge for using a credit card and a $0.09 tip added. However, there is nowhere on the bill to add your own tip adjustment. When you sign the credit card receipt, they then chase after you because you only left a $0.09 tip! This awkwardness is unnecessary and should be addressed immediately as to not embarrass patron and workers.

I’m always searching places to go in the area and I’m not sure why I haven’t found this place sooner. The cocktails and beer list were so good. Best octopus of my life, amazing fried goat cheese, filet was divine, and amazing smash burger with fries and garlic aioli. So happy with the food and drink. Such friendly attentive service. There was a loud event at the bar but the staff did everything they could to limit what we heard. The staff talked with us and showed us around this historic and charming building like we were long lost friends. Will definitely be back. Pretty soon.

Grey Stone is our place to go for family events. Food is always excellent, staff is friendly and helpful, the relaxed atmosphere and peaceful, country setting makes this our go-to place. Try the porkchop, it's phenomenal.

My husband and I celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary over the weekend and The Grey Stone was a perfect choice! They made us feel so special. The food was top notch and the service was impeccable. I will recommend this restaurant to all my family and friends!!
