Experience the freshest family favorites in Uptown Gig Harbor at the Greenhouse restaurant. This casual, family-friendly eatery features seasonal menus, bursting with local produce, seafood and spirits. Helmed by renowned chef Erik Smith, each dish is created to order, using responsibly, locally sourced ingredients, artfully prepared and plated in an elegant, inviting ambience.

Greenhouse features full lunch and dinner menus, as well as appetizers, small and large bites and decadent desserts that change daily. It also offers a special Twilight Menu, with three-course meals ranging from light to hearty fare, and a Happy Hour menu that is featured in the bar. The extensive wine and beer list also changes daily, spotlighting local microbreweries and wineries, as well as perennial favorites that pair perfectly with the menu options. Greenhouse is open for lunch and dinner; information about private bookings for parties, meetings, receptions and corporate events is available on request.

What a delightful experience. The staff is very professional and friendly and attentive, but never overbearing. The food is excellent, 5-star all the way. We all had variations on steak and all were done to our request and perfection. The truffle and garlic mashed potatoes were heavenly. Wine selection very good quality, and the bar made some really good cocktails.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Green House restaurant in Gig Harbor, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. My husband and I chose to dine here for early Mother's Day dinner, and we were not disappointed. First and foremost, the menu selection was fantastic, and the special menu for Mother's Day offered a wide range of choices to satisfy everyone's palate. For our main course, we opted for the Wild King Salmon, and it was truly a culinary masterpiece. Cooked to perfection, the salmon was tender and flavorful. The accompanying black rice with lobster risotto and Bernadine sauce, along with the fresh asparagus, added an exquisite touch to the dish. Each bite was an explosion of taste and texture, leaving us completely satisfied. Moreover, the ambience both inside and outside the restaurant was absolutely delightful. The charming decor and comfortable seating created a warm and inviting atmosphere. Whether you prefer an intimate dinner indoors or a pleasant evening on the patio, Green House offers a setting that will enhance any dining experience. What truly made our visit memorable was the exceptional service we received for our server Grace. We met the manager & owner, and they were incredibly accommodating and a delight to interact with. Their personable approach made us feel welcome and valued as guests. As first-time visitors, we appreciated their guidance in navigating the dinner and dessert selections, which helped us make informed choices. If you are looking for a great place for a date night or a special occasion, look no further than Green House. The combination of delectable cuisine, delightful ambience, and outstanding service truly sets this restaurant apart. I cannot recommend it enough. Whether you are a local or just passing through Gig Harbor, make sure to visit Green House for an unforgettable dining experience.

It was a perfect Mother's Day lunch for my daughter and I. Even though we sat at the bar top the experience was wonderful! The food was excellent, the service was perfect and your entire staff is always so friendly and helpful!

Absolutely the best wild Dungeness crab cakes! Excellent service and delicious cheesecake. Made for wonderful mother-daughter lunch. Have been telling friends we need to repeat.

Food is okay, flat iron steak was over cooked to boarder line well done, duck was over cook to medium and skin was rubbery, goat cheese appetizer was amazing, kids loved the Mac and cheese not your typical box kraft.

I don’t recall our servers name but she was wonderful!! We celebrated our 31st anniversary on May 1st at the Gig Harbor establishment. We don’t live in the Harbor area anymore but we always enjoy the Green House food and service. Thanks M & B

We were celebrating a birthday and every thing was perfect. The servings were more than ample and delicious. Nothing could have been done better.

Overall the food was good. The best dishes were the chicken piccata (tasty), wedge salad (delicious) and the Wagyu burger (juicy, flavorful and large was a great value). The pork chop and the skirt steak dishes were run of the mill with not a lot of flavor, but nice sized. Service was excellent and the ambiance was very nice. The cocktails were good.

The Greenhouse is one of my favorite restaurants to dine at in Gig Harbor. We all had the steak salad, which is always a favorite. The steak was cooked to perfection and so tender. Our server, Grace, was very attentive.

I’m sure I have written a previous review for Green House but it is worth mentioning again. This is our go to restaurant when we want a nice evening out and certainly for all special occasions. The ambiance is nice, the service is attentive and friendly and the food is always excellent.

The staff was great, was able to switch us to outside seating. The food never disappoints. I had the Rib eye cooked to perfection. Wife had the pasta. Look forward to our next visit.

Greenhouse is always a good choice for a nice dinner in Gig Harbor. The service is always excellent - the waiters are friendly and attentive. Several of our go to items on the menu are the parmesan crusted halibut, the pork shop and the split chicken.... also their entree salads are great and for a starter give the wedge salad a try! On a nice day, see if you can sit on the patio!

We ate at 5:30 on a Friday and the small place was already mostly packed. There in demand restaurant, we had a wonderful server and the seafood platter appetizer was fantastic, just wish there was more of each item! Incredible Wagyu cheeseburger and delicious Parmesan crusted halibut.

Great bottle of Pinot Gris, salad tasted fresh, and the halibut was the best we have had in years. The desert was very small for $12, but tasted ok. We will return soon. The service was outstanding and our server went out of her way to ensure we had a good experience.

We had a 7 pm reservation (the night before Easter) and the previous party occupying the table meant for us was slow to leave. The restaurant owner went above and beyond to make up for the delay. We received complimentary champagne while we waited, followed by a complimentary appetizer and sorbet. The food and service were amazing. We will definitely try and highly recommend to others.

I typically have a great meal. I’ve ordered the lamb chops before which were fantastic. This experience not good at all. Very fatty and I will prob not order again. Most expensive item on menu. Should be outstanding every time. Service was great .
