Set on the Delaware River waterfront and located inside a historical riverfront pumping station, Fringe Bar is Philadelphia’s newest experiential, active fun space. As the latest addition to the FringeArts campus hub, the newly renovated bar and restaurant provide a highly versatile venue for unforgettable experiences year round. Dine indoors and enjoy our soulful pub cuisine featuring snacks and bites alongside an array of eclectic and funky beverage options enhanced by custom entertainment ranging from jazz ensembles, to funk bands, to cabaret, and more. Dining experiences are further accentuated by the soaring views of the Delaware River and Benjamin Franklin Bridge in our industrial-chic space directly adjacent to FringeArts’ renowned state-of-the-art 220 seat theater. Outdoors is Haas Biergarten, which serves as a vibrant, plant filled space in the warmer months and an intimate, cozy space in the cooler months.

The vibe here is fun, city, lively. But our service was suuuuper slow - even after we told our server that we had tickets to a show immediately after. We asked for her recommendations for things that would come out quickly, we told her we were ready to order, and then she left for 15 minutes to "give us a minute" to look at the menu. We ordered the lamb gyro flatbread, which was AMAZING - so flavorful, loads of textures - just delicious. Our other option was the fried cheese curds. These were not cheese curds - it was like a mozzarella stick chopped into bite size bits and deep fried. On their own, they had zero flavor. The accompanying marinara was okay, in that it enhanced the mozzarella sticks, but it could have used some seasoning. Definitely wouldn't order these again. Almost immediately after ordering, we brought out our credit card to make payment, and even with several attempts to flag her down, our server didn't come back. She finally acknowledged us and it still took a good 10 minutes for her to run our card. It does say you should give yourself 2 hours before a show to eat, but we figured with just a couple of apps and a drink, an hour was plenty of time. It was not. We raced into the show at the last minute before it started.

The service was slow, but it looked like it was one waitress for the whole outdoor seating. The food was good but the fries were cold. The atmosphere was nice. The price was a little high for burgers and chicken sandwich.

We waited a half hour for any food to appear, the appetizer came half way through entrees, and two entrees came a half hour after the rest of the entrees arrived. We also had to get up to get our own water since refills were never offered. We will not be returning!

Everything that we ordered came out cold. The coffee was cold, the tortilla soup was cold and the gyro was cold. I sent the coffee back and tried to have the gyro redone and the flatbread to the gyro came back hard as rocks. I don't think they cook food, just microwave it. Please don't eat here!!

Went here for brunch with a few friends. The atmosphere was super cool and the wait staff was great! Unfortunately our food came out cold. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

Really slow service, which for a restaurant attached to a theatre is not good. Our food came so late that we had to take half of it to go, to not miss the show. Plus, all the servers seemed high and made numerous mistakes. Love the Fringe Arts vibe but the experience was super frustrating and I wouldn't go back for another meal. Maybe just a drink before a show...

Food and drinks were absolutely phenomenal. Our server was super polite however they severely understaffed and he was spread very thin while the manager was chatting with guests (presumably her friends); it would’ve been nice to see her help out a little.

Fringe Bar has a small, but good quality menu. The drinks and service were great as well.

George our waiter was great. Offered suggestions on both food and drink. They had $1 well shots!!! The Korean beef bowl was great and the lemon pepper wings. Would definitely return
