Arrived at 1pm. Place was mostly empty. Waitress immediately asked I was ready to order. No. Finally ordered a starter of tots and two entree salads. The salads came but the tots were AWOL. I had asked for them to be "extra done." They were not. They had clearly forgotten them and threw them together. Medium cooked tots on salad plate with sriracha and some microwaved Cheez Whiz. The entree salads were equally "meh." My friend had a 2-year-old. They had a booster seat but no bibs. Dessert was described as "strawberry ice cream sandwiched between a peanut butter cookie and an oatmeal cookie. A lot going on there." The two salads, tots starter, iced tea and diet coke were $51+tip? I will not make this mistake twice.

There were not a few tables seated when we arrived since we came at non-busy time. The staff was friendly and the food was good, though it did take a little bit for it to come out despite no one else being there. If I’m ever in town, I’ll definitely come back!

Mediocre food at high prices. First glass of wine was turned. Marguerite’s were terrible and very sour. The stem glasses are small and drinks are 15 dollars plus. The waiter got three orders wrong. And we had to chase him down for attention. The salads were wilted and bitter and the chicken was dry.

I feel like they gave us day old meat. The salmon was dry and over cooked, The coconut basmati rice was more like grits. the ribs was hard and dry. The drinks was good. And the service was great.

Went here during restaurant week for lunch the soup was amazing and the burger was tasty but not done to the correct temperature.

Food was good, with many gluten free options. Unfortunately it seemed they were understaffed when our group went. To give the staff credit, they were friendly and aware of the delays, we got some of the delayed appetizers/drinks taken off the check. Will definitely go again.

The server, Lizzie, was great. The food was nothing special, but it wasn't bad. The booth was gross. There was food and trash on the seat and stains, as well. There was an annoying fruit fly that wouldn't leave us alone (probably from the the bar fruit).

We went for Restaurant Week. The food was amazing. I just missed that this is basically a hotel lobby, not an enclosed restaurant.

The food was delicious! We tried lots of different things from the restaurant week menu. Our favorite was the carnitas tostadas and French onion soup. Our least favorite was the chicken curry. But still all very good and worth the price. It was also dead in there so we enjoyed the quiet and quick service. Our server was Tim and he was great. Thank you!

Service was ok. There seemed to be only one server for the entire restaurant but when we arrived we were only one of 2 tables so it should have been ok. The kitchen was slow and the food was average. I ordered off the restaurant week menu but was disappointed in the chicken sandwich, over cooked and bland. The turkey club sandwiches looked amazing though. I did enjoy the tomato bisque as well. It’s a nice space I just think they need to work out some kinks.

Was seated right away with a nice big booth, orders were taken shortly after and food was out in 15min, steak was cooked perfect just a little salty for my taste but still very good, and the quesadilla was also amazing. Overall 9.5/10

The service and food were fabulous, but the noise from the bar/Lounge area was a little loud. The portion size of the meals was more than I expected, over all, it was very good 👍

Food temperatures where incorrect … burger was served raw inside …. Rice was hard and under cooked and mushy at the same time … curry sauce for chicken was good… drink were good ( watch for the bartender licking his fingers, touching money, using dish rag and then touching the tip of the straws to put in the drinks) NO HAND WASHING… place looks like a dinner very dennys like .

For a hotel, it's pretty good. It's not Fine Dining, but the menu is here and there imaginative. I had a version of a cheesesteak, which had a genuine cheese sauce (not Cheez Whiz) which went very well with the seasoned beef. My wife had a decent Caesar. We also had a truly excellent French Onion soup. Incidentally, we ate off the à la carte menu. There's an abbreviated menu as well.

The hummus was terrific. Waitress was very nice. Few customers being the 4th of July. My only criticism was the root beet salad was doused in vinegar-based dressing so it wasn't pleasant. My friends salad was had less dressing and tasted much better. Nice place.

Came to reservation only to be told the kitchen was closed for the evening. There were also still 3 available later time slots available on the app. Spoke with manager who refused to accommodate us

The restaurant smelled awful, bug repellent plus ammonia. Fruit flies hovering over us the whole meal. Landing in our glasses and food. Ambiance was a generic hotel lobby. Just gross. Never again.

Mother’s Day Brunch at the Franklin Social was amazing, the was food delicious and endless mimosas, sangria so yummy. I loved the atmosphere and decor. The staff was friendly with great customer service. I will definitely be back.

Once we were seated upstairs, everything was wonderful. The food was outstanding, as was the service by all of the staff in the ballroom where brunch took place. The "check in" station was extremely disorganized and understaffed - there also was no mention (to my knowledge) that we would need to pay prior to being seated. Also, the restrooms were all dirty and the toilets were clogged. And not for nothing, maybe it's time to retire the Will Smith photo in the bathroom.

We celebrated Mother’s Day here. It was nice being that is was short notice for reservations for a party of 10 and it was a brunch buffet, I wasn’t disappointed. My family had a great time together staff was accommodating to our request and food was respectable. Bottomless mimosas was on point!

We went to Mother’s Day brunch buffet. It was awful, especially for the steep price tag. $75 pp (when including tax and automatic tip). The eggs were cold, slim offerings, and the omelet station had cheese, onions, and peppers. I think diced ham at the very least is standard. Really poor showing for the Renaissance hotel. 0/10 would highly NOT recommend.

It was a good place to catch up with a friend. Not much ambience and no view. Better lighting and open blinds would help a lot. Staff was great and food came quickly.

We were only offered the restaurant week menu, which was not expected since I had a choice during the reservation process to choose the regular menu. We had to be at the theatre at 8PM so we decided to stay. We informed the server that we only had an hour, but since he was the only server, our entrees took a long time. We never did get the dessert because we had to go. 15% was taken off the bill for the inconvenience. The food was ok, but not great. The salmon was dry and the meatloaf was strange. We were not at all happy and won't return.

Was disappointed with the fried chicken sandwich on Rest. Week menu. Chicken practically inedible. Tough, chewy and appeared as it was under cooked or cooked hours before served. And Tatar tots?

Disappointing service. There was only one person there taking orders and running the bar. He did a fantastic job. It’s disappointing the management left all this work for one person to handle.

Went to Franklin Social for Philly Restaurant Week. At 6PM, they were already out of two dishes on the menu. The appetizers were good, but the main course was terrible. Salmon was very overcooked, maybe microwaved. Vegetables were equally bad, and the mashed sweet potatoes cold. Presentation looked like a high school cafeteria lunch. There was only one waiter for the entire restaurant. He tried his best, but clearly needed help. This was my first visit to Franklin Social. There will not be a second.
