I have dined at Fogo de Chao restaurants in several cities and have enjoyed the food and service. This was my third time at the Bellevue location, the last a couple years ago. The place has slipped such i will likely not return. First, we were seated at a table next to a server station, crowded against a wall. When i asked for another table the insouciant hostess looked around at a half empty restaurant and said there were no tables available. I tried again with our server and had better luck. Second, the Market Table (salad bar) was arrayed with tired and pedestrian offerings, quite unlike what i had enjoyed at other Fogo restaurants or even this Bellevue location when last i was there. Third, the waiters with the skewered meat, chicken etc were slow to circulate amongst the half full restaurant. We ( a party of 3) had to ask our server to send someone over. Slow but deliberate. The sliced meat offerings were nothing to say "come back". all in all, an indifferent experience with mostly tasteless and lazily prepared food.

Poor experience making a reservation at 6 and then being seated by 7. There were three other groups that were seated before us but checked in the same time without reservation. Doesn’t make sense to make reservations if that doesn’t reserve a table for you.

Had to wait 20 minutes to be seated after my reservation. Some of the meats were dry and over cooked. Staff would walk past you if you had a green card flipped up (lack of awareness or just focused on serving other tables).

Meat was excellent. The place was very loud. Waiters seemed overwhelmed and you had to wait quite a bit for them to bring you pretty much everything.

Took a while to get seated despite a reservation — hostesses were strangely slow. Kept getting bypassed by servers bringing meats despite having our card on the “yes please” side, so we didn’t get quite a few cuts until we specifically asked for them… Our waiter was friendly but told us there was coke etc instead of highlighting the more unique drinks on the menu (when the coke cost the same as those…) Other than that, the churrasco was amazing and totally worth the price.

Went out for a friends 50th birthday! It was amazing ordered by especial and came in late still got amazing service from the gaucho!

I went to Fogo de Chau in Baltimore some time ago and was really excited to go take my family when I got home to WA. Needless to say, that excitement was short-lived once I actually ate there. We had a party of 7, and were seated in a corner up against what looked like a beverage station for the servers or possibly where they put dishes?? Luckily my sister in law was tiny enough to fit in the space because anyone else would have been sandwiched. I felt like we could have been given a better table considering the restaurant was not too crowded, I made the reservation a week in advance and also annotated that this was a special occasion (college send-off for my niece). However, there was barely walking room between our table and the ones behind and beside us, and because we were so close, conversation was sometimes difficult. The salad bar was very underwhelming; I put 4 or 5 different items on my plate and every single one of them tasted the same - BLAND. I had to ask the servers for a few different meats that were supposed to be included because the only things they kept offering our table was sirloin and flank steak. It was extremely frustrating because I treated my entire family to their first experience at Fogo de Chau and had to keep apologizing for the slow service and lack of options. Our server literally knocked over my brother's entire beer (his phone, seat and table linens were all soaked) and not only did WE end up cleaning up the beer, it took at least 15 minutes for him to bring a new one. Texas de Brazil is much closer to my house and more convenient overall, but I had remembered how good Fogo de Chau was the first time I went, so I convinced everyone to sit through Seattle/Bellevue traffic in order to try something "new". Given the overall experience I had, I'll save my gas money and stay closer to home next time. Pretty disappointing overall.

Selection of meats were very good. Everything was delicious. Servers were friendly and came by often to offer us more food.
