Really great service and food. Arrived about 45 min early so we could have some cocktails. Though a table was ready we decided to it at the bar. Great service from bartender, manager brought us a board with bread and hummus. Dinner was phenomenal. Server was pleasant, knowledgeable, and attentive. Food was well prepared and delicious. Octopus appetizer was well seasoned and tender with a nice char flavor or coming through. Dorade beautiful perfectly cooked also with a nice char. Horta (greens) nice counterpoint to fish. Lambchops perfect medium rare. Baklava was outrageous! Try this place you won't be disappointed.

hostess was very accommodating in finding appropriate seating. MothersDay brunch items were good and not too pricey. Only problem was out of order elevator to restrooms and one of could not walk stairs.

Estia is consistently good with great service, which is hard to find these days. Our server was attentive and never once made us feel rushed despite it being a busy Mother’s Day. Delicious food and overall a very nice experience. Thank you!

The food was fantastic. This was our first time at Estia and the waiter was very helpful guiding us through options each of our party might enjoy. The six of us each got different meals and everyone loved what they got. Will be back.

We enjoyed Estia very much. From the expressitinos to apps to entrees all food was excellent. Particularly loved halibut dish and the lamb shank was exceptional. In the appetizer department the Estimate chips are a must. Javier our waiter was terrific. Can’t wait for next time

When we visit our young adult children in Philadelphia, we like this 'grown up' restaurant a lot -- a very good pre-theater menu with three courses, white linens and a fancy but friendly well-staff make this a special night out experience. Generous portions and freshly made dishes-- we especially like their fish offerings and their delicious take on Greek standards.

Fish was fresh, sardines were cooked weird - salty, salad was green peppers and a lot of tomatoes, not what I usually like. The fish we ordered as fresh but 2.5 pounds at 44 bucks a pound was pricey and left uneaten. A man on the street enjoyed the fish and vegetables. Veggies cooked was assortment of fresh vegetables like eggplant with skin not what I usually enjoy. Waitress was great. bathrooms were super clean. Coffee was weak but fresh. Ice cream was delicious, limited flavors. cocktails were well made, but weak in quantity.

Service, food, ambience.... all of it absolutely superb.... One of the best Roast Lamb meals I have ever had, and I am Australian and I grew up on roast lamb every week !! Superior service with amazingly friendly staff. Truly a flawless evening. Could not recommend more highly !!!

Another fantastic experience! Estia is without a doubt one of the best restaurants in Philly. The food quality is excellent, the service is prompt, competent, and engaging, the ambience is pleasant …. Most of all though, again, the food is superb. I usually get the lamb chops (among the best to be had anywhere), but got the shrimp souvlaki this time. Divine, as was the rest of it. The horiatiki salad is a real star, too - the tomatoes are like nothing you get elsewhere in the States. It’s all a wonderful experience!

Perfect spot for a lovely pre-theater dinner. The location is ideal of course, but the food and service make for a very nice dining experience. Seafood is a highlight on the menu and is always fresh and delicious. Lots of other choices, with Greek specialties perfectly done.

I hadn’t been to Estia Philly in over 5 years, not sure why, because my first visit was quite enjoyable. I remember having the fried sardines, and although they were not like what I remembered from eating them in Italy, they were good none the less. It was probably COVId that kept me away so long. Last night I had the lamb shank. It melts in your mouth and the flavors are oh so good. My dining friends had equally fantastic meals—swordfish, eggplant, and yummy appetizers. Our cocktails were large and exquisite. Our waiter Miguel was attentive and friendly. He graciously took a photo of us all at our table. I’d go back in a heartbeat!

Estia is one of my favorite restaurants ! I have eaten amazing food all over the world, but I still must say that the quality of dishes at Estia is amongst the best both in quality and consistency . It is an amazing place to eat and is so close to the Kimmel Center and Academy of Music, so convenience is without question. I heartily recommend it to anyone seeking truly stellar Mediterranean fare!

Disappointing Experience for Large Party My party of six recently had a disappointing experience at despite having a reservation beforehand. Upon arrival, we were uncomfortably squeezed into a table for four with extra chairs. It was quite cramped and made conversation difficult throughout the meal. We politely requested a larger table to accommodate our party comfortably. However, the staff prioritized seating for upcoming reservations, leaving us disregarded and frustrated. It felt like our existing reservation wasn't important. Furthermore, accessibility for our party member with a walker was an issue. The table assigned to us had several steps, creating a challenge for them to navigate. While the staff offered a complimentary dessert as a token of apology, it wasn't enough to rectify the overall inconvenience caused. It's important to note that this experience might not be representative for everyone. However, I would strongly advise diners with larger parties to call ahead and confirm table availability for their group size. It seems that they prioritizes new reservations over accommodating existing ones. Additionally, diners with accessibility concerns, especially those with mobility limitations, may want to inquire about accessible seating options beforehand.

We came in at about 5:30 to have dinner before our 7:00 show. We ordered from the "pre-theater" menu. It's a great value and the food was excellent. Two of had the lambchops, which were perfectly grilled and delicious. Our third had the eggplant and really enjoyed it. This is unusual - she has often had eggplant either undercooked or overcooked, but this was perfectly done.

Absolutely delicious! Came in before Anthony Jesselnik. Ordered the octopus, zucchini chips, romaine salad, lamb chops and lobster spaghetti. 10/10!

Great Greek wine, Estia chips, horta, fish, and very tasty octopus! Good service in a popular, crowded restaurant - yes a bit noisy - but lovely.

We always love Estia! The oysters are beautiful, the octopus is a merriment of flavors, the lamb is succulent and wonderful. It's a perfect storm of beautiful ambiance and flavor.

Our wait staff was very knowledgeable and helped us with our selections. The food was delicious and it came out hot.

Everything was delicious and start to finish. started with the Estia chips and the crabcake. The chips were the perfect appetizer; light, crispy, and flavorful. I had the lamb shake, and my companion had the filet mignon. The lamb shank was tender, fall off the bone and was complimented by a delicious red sauce, and the best tasting orzo I have ever had. My companion very much enjoyed the filet mignon and said that it was very well seasoned. The potatoes taste amazing, well seasoned with lemony undertones. The cheesecake for dessert!!! It was so light and the right amount of sweetness. It was creamy. The pistachios and the little crispy, crunchy, honeyed, flaky accompaniment on top was very delicious..

The food and service were excellent. However, if you're a table of two, be prepared to be squished between very big tables.

Very happy with our early dinner last Sunday. Cocktails, appetizer, wine, entrees, tea and dessert. Everything came out great. The best part was server Robin!! Our entrees were the lamb chops and the Lobster linguini. We needed Robin's help with a wine pairing. She brought us the Super Tuscan. A+ for the lamb chops but a concern for lobster. She knew that the Italian red sauce on the linguini just screams for the Super Tuscan!! The wine literally danced on our tongues!! Just Excellent! Great to see Manager Clark as well. We will be back and we will ask for Robin!

As always, everything was great!! Vera and Monica were wonderful as usual and the sea bass was outstanding.
