I hadn’t been to Estia Philly in over 5 years, not sure why, because my first visit was quite enjoyable. I remember having the fried sardines, and although they were not like what I remembered from eating them in Italy, they were good none the less. It was probably COVId that kept me away so long. Last night I had the lamb shank. It melts in your mouth and the flavors are oh so good. My dining friends had equally fantastic meals—swordfish, eggplant, and yummy appetizers. Our cocktails were large and exquisite. Our waiter Miguel was attentive and friendly. He graciously took a photo of us all at our table. I’d go back in a heartbeat!

Estia is one of my favorite restaurants ! I have eaten amazing food all over the world, but I still must say that the quality of dishes at Estia is amongst the best both in quality and consistency . It is an amazing place to eat and is so close to the Kimmel Center and Academy of Music, so convenience is without question. I heartily recommend it to anyone seeking truly stellar Mediterranean fare!

Disappointing Experience for Large Party My party of six recently had a disappointing experience at despite having a reservation beforehand. Upon arrival, we were uncomfortably squeezed into a table for four with extra chairs. It was quite cramped and made conversation difficult throughout the meal. We politely requested a larger table to accommodate our party comfortably. However, the staff prioritized seating for upcoming reservations, leaving us disregarded and frustrated. It felt like our existing reservation wasn't important. Furthermore, accessibility for our party member with a walker was an issue. The table assigned to us had several steps, creating a challenge for them to navigate. While the staff offered a complimentary dessert as a token of apology, it wasn't enough to rectify the overall inconvenience caused. It's important to note that this experience might not be representative for everyone. However, I would strongly advise diners with larger parties to call ahead and confirm table availability for their group size. It seems that they prioritizes new reservations over accommodating existing ones. Additionally, diners with accessibility concerns, especially those with mobility limitations, may want to inquire about accessible seating options beforehand.

We came in at about 5:30 to have dinner before our 7:00 show. We ordered from the "pre-theater" menu. It's a great value and the food was excellent. Two of had the lambchops, which were perfectly grilled and delicious. Our third had the eggplant and really enjoyed it. This is unusual - she has often had eggplant either undercooked or overcooked, but this was perfectly done.

Everything was delicious and start to finish. started with the Estia chips and the crabcake. The chips were the perfect appetizer; light, crispy, and flavorful. I had the lamb shake, and my companion had the filet mignon. The lamb shank was tender, fall off the bone and was complimented by a delicious red sauce, and the best tasting orzo I have ever had. My companion very much enjoyed the filet mignon and said that it was very well seasoned. The potatoes taste amazing, well seasoned with lemony undertones. The cheesecake for dessert!!! It was so light and the right amount of sweetness. It was creamy. The pistachios and the little crispy, crunchy, honeyed, flaky accompaniment on top was very delicious..

Very happy with our early dinner last Sunday. Cocktails, appetizer, wine, entrees, tea and dessert. Everything came out great. The best part was server Robin!! Our entrees were the lamb chops and the Lobster linguini. We needed Robin's help with a wine pairing. She brought us the Super Tuscan. A+ for the lamb chops but a concern for lobster. She knew that the Italian red sauce on the linguini just screams for the Super Tuscan!! The wine literally danced on our tongues!! Just Excellent! Great to see Manager Clark as well. We will be back and we will ask for Robin!

Love this restaurant. Every time we go, the food is outstanding. Fresh, delicious, and pretty decent prices. I usually get the Jumbo African Prawns. Never disappoints! I highly recommend.

Oysters, octopodi, halloumi, halibut. A bottle of Gentili Robola (Greek white) and a Greek coffee. All perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. Terrific service, as always. A great pre-concert dinner. Estia should be on everyone's short list of best Center City dining experiences.

The food here is fantastic. We had a variety of happy hour dishes sitting at the bar. The bartender, Matthew, was more than accommodating. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Always love the food at Estia - especially the Estia chips. The service was wonderful, friendly, efficient, and well aware of the time as we were going to a show at the Academy. We will definitely be back!

Our food was delicious, our drinks were delicious and the staff overall was extremely attentive. However, we went to this restaurant after seeing a show at the Academy of Music. Our waitress did not explain the pricing for the “Theatre Menu” correctly and we were told it was $40 per person with no additional add-ons. When we received our bill there were $10+ of add on pricing per person. The manager came over to explain what the costs were and again this was not explained by our waitress. Our dinner ended up costing almost double the cost that we were originally told. *RECOMMEND READING THE MENU FULLY*

First time dining at Estia and it was great! Everything was perfect. We both had fish entrees and the fish was cooked perfectly and served with delicious veggies. Our server (Betty) was super and had several good recommendations for us. Highly recommend the swordfish and halibut; but also try the beet app - it was super. Although the restaurant was crowded we were not rushed and leisurely enjoyed coffee and tea with a delicious piece of the honey walnut cake. Definitely recommend trying this restaurant- you will enjoy the food and ambience. We will return!

Food was amazing as always. My favorite restaurant outside of a steakhouse. Reminds me of being back in Greece.
