The El Serrano Family of Restaurants has come a long way since its humble beginnings in the 1980s as a food trailer at the York Fair--and while it is thousands of miles from Owner Manuel Torres' native Peru, stepping though its hand-carved mahogany doors is like entering a Latin-American hacienda.
Come and discover why we have been in Lancaster since 1993...enjoy Tex-Mex favorites like chicken fajitas or Peruvian specialties such as Lomo Saltado.

El Serrano continues to delight in every way. Our server was charming and efficient. The food was its customary wonderful. The courtyard on this beautiful evening, brought an Old World ambience. My “house” mojito was delicious and just as I had ordered it! Because the service was not intrusive, my friend and I enjoyed a wonderful evening of conversation.

We wanted a quick dinner on a Monday night & El Serrano didn't disappoint! We both had the Mixto Limeno & 2 glasses of delicious red sangria.

Young server seemed out of his depth. Service was slow. No manager to be seen. Food was mediocre. What happened. Food used to be much better.

Lomo Saltado is awesome. Service was great. My preference is to sit in a booth, but I did not request that. Great experience.

Beautiful restaurant but unfortunately the prettiest areas were not being utilized for seating. We were at a small table in the corner (5 of us), and could have easily been seated in a much more open area. Not sure why except to make it easier for the wait staff? Other than that, everything else was wonderful. Had a great waiter, Micah, and amazing food. This was our first time but will return. But will ask for a better table!
