The El Serrano Family of Restaurants has come a long way since its humble beginnings in the 1980s as a food trailer at the York Fair--and while it is thousands of miles from Owner Manuel Torres' native Peru, stepping though its hand-carved mahogany doors is like entering a Latin-American hacienda.
Come and discover why we have been in Lancaster since 1993...enjoy Tex-Mex favorites like chicken fajitas or Peruvian specialties such as Lomo Saltado.

Very excited to celebrate our anniversary at El Serrano and we were not disappointed! Excellent food, service, and an overalls wonderful experience. Will go back soon!

There were six of us enjoying a meal in the beautiful courtyard. Our server was attentive and communicative, letting us know that our food would be a little delayed (we had our drinks and conversation, so no problem there). Everyone’s food was just right and the drinks (margaritas and sangria) were yummy. This has been a favorite restaurant for many years and I’m sure we’ll be back many more times.

One of the best establishments in the area. I always bring friends, family, and clients to this restaurant to impress. Awesome Chimichangas.

First time here. Really nice atmosphere in a Spanish hacienda with multiple rooms, courtyard, etc. Felt casually elegant. To a person everyone was very friendly. From the host to the sever and runner. Nice menu with all Spanish wines that were poured generously at a very reasonable price ($9 for a large, nice glass). We had lomo saltado (Peruvian beef) and enchiladas then finished with flan, which like the wine was a nice dessert for $5.50. My only suggestion is to bring the salsa in something other than a plastic take out cup, and the chips in something other than the “dog dish” aluminum bowl. Some Peruvian pottery would befit the nice surroundings. All together it was a 5 star response on the survey we were happy to complete, giving El Serrano the high praise it deserves. Will be back!

After not going out to eat since Covid began, we enjoyed the meal, the kind service and great atmosphere.The food was so good. Nothing changed after three and a half years. Wonderful food and service. Thank you for still being a great place.
