DePaul’s Table: Modern Italian Steakhouse has touches of Italian flavors, the finest cuts of steak, big chops, fresh seafood, seasonal vegetables, big salads and savory flatbreads. The 25-seat bar also features an extended raw bar area showcasing daily selections of towering displays of fresh oysters, shrimp cocktails, and other fresh seafood.
A value-driven wine and cocktail program, included a curated list of wines by the bottle and glass, provide the perfect compliment to any experience. Complimentary Valet is available Thur-Sun. Metered parking is available across the street at Schauffele Plaza or Cricket Ave Parking Garage.

Always a wonderful meal at DePaul's. The food, drinks and service are top notch. This is our "go to" for a great evening out! Glenn was our fabulous server; attentive and very friendly. We love going to DePaul's and are thrilled they are in the neighborhood! Highly recommend. Have never had a meal that we didn't love :)

Glenn with 2 “N”’s was amazing. He had really good recommendations on food and was attentive. The Prosecco was crisp, bone marrow wasn’t bad but it wasn’t the best I’ve had by far. I ordered my steak Oscar style and it was to die for. My only problem was I saw a mouse run across the dining room floor and it freaked me out for the duration of my time there.

Our new favorite restaurant. The food was delicious, the service impeccable. Britney the GM came over to check on us to ensure Everything was to our liking. The Delmonico was done to perfection as well as our other meals. Salmon, Filet and Pasta. Cannot recommend more highly. We cannot wait to go back. We finished off the meal with chocolate chip cookies and Kalua shooters. So fun!

DEPAULS TABLE is a consistently top notch place in terms of food/ atmosphere/ and service. Last night I had a fine crabmeat cocktail and lamb chops- the latter all thick but juicy and with plentiful mint jelly to enhance their flavor. My wife had onion soup which was not hot enough,according to her. So that is a problem. Prices are quite steep- over 60 dollars for the chops and 18 bucks for the soup as I recall. Sides such as grilled asparagus were 15 dollars each also far from inexpensive. However they were plentiful and very tasty. Overall aside from the soup being lukewarm, the food was its usual high quality but higher priced than I recall from having been there several times in the past. The bill for 2 without dessert , including tax and tip, was over 200 dollars . A bit lower on the prices would turn a very good experience into a great one. However, despite that, we will return. The numerous positives outweigh the few negatives.

Had high hopes for DePaul's and was grossly disappointed from start to finish. Upon seating, I noticed how unkempt the restaurant was. The windows were dirty, ledges dusty and sticky and our table was wobbly. The server's solution (she said it happens "everyday") to fixing the table was adding a bunch of checkbooks underneath which still didn't make it level and kept hitting my colleague's feet under the table (he's 6'6). Another server came over to us to get our drink order and when he returned spilled some of two of the martinis on the table and didn't even acknowledge it. He had strange energy and was talking and moving around so chaotically. He kept redundantly interrupting us which was so off putting while we were trying to have a business dinner. After our appetizers came, we never saw him again. Another server took over the table and we thought the evening would improve. We were wrong. We had a few questions about the food preparation and bottled wine which she knew nothing about. She couldn't even pronounce the wine we ordered. There was a good 30 minutes in between courses yet the appetizers weren't even cleared beforehand and all the food came out on top of each other. We had to wait for steak knives. The food was good; not great; but for the price point, I expect a better caliber of service. I'd equate this level of service to that of a diner, not an upscale steakhouse. It was honestly embarrassing that I suggested this place to my visiting colleagues. It was one of the most awkward and unpleasant dining experiences I have ever had. I didn't want to make a scene in front of my guests, so I waited to reach out to the manager to share my experience before writing a review. After almost two weeks with no response, I will not return and I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fine dining experience.

Our Manhattans were well made and the food was great as usual. It is a little noisy around the bar area but that is where all the action is. The best part, though, was our waiter, Kevin! Not only is his service great but he is an excellent person. We have been to DePaul's before and had him wait us, and we would go again just because of him. It was a very nice dinner.

Food and drinks were absolutely delicious. Damon the waiter was personable and very funny. The owner introduced himself and personally checked in with customers to make sure that they had an enjoyable experience.

I have been several times now both for special occasions and also "just because." This last visit was for a birthday dinner with 6 of us total. Our server was as attentive as he needed to be to qualify for good service--a "check-in" or two may have bolstered the service up to 5-stars for this admittedly tough review. A couple of us ordered filets one being Medium and my request of Medium/Rare. Mine turned out to be on the right side of Medium and cooked even more-so than my company's. That said, it was still delicious as it always is. Drinks were outstanding which is always pleasant to get that consistency. This spot is absolutely a dime for anyone who wants the atmosphere of a high end steak place of the city, but outside the city. I live in Manayunk and there is few places that can compete with the quality within that couple mile radius.

Great location, beautifully decorated and free valet is a plus. Not your typical steakhouse, also a bonus, and the appetizers were delicious (best Octopus ever had…kudos). Will definitely be back

DePaul didn’t disappoint. Had a great dinner, waitstaff was on point. My friend and I moved to the bar for after dinner cocktails. Will be back.

Top notch service, delicious food from appetizers to steak to dessert, and a nice touch from our waiter Josh with dessert served with a sparkler to help my wife and I celebrate our anniversary.

The service and overall dining experience was second to none. We even enjoyed conversation with the people dining on either side of us. Food was spectacular and our server (Kevin) was both personable and professional. He knew the menu well and made great recommendations.

We went for my daughter’s 18th birthday. This was our second time visiting there. Everything was wonderful from beginning to end. The staff was attentive and food was delicious. It was also quick. Dinner reservations were at 6pm and we were done through 3 courses by 8. Also, the cocktails were well done. Highly recommend!

overall experience was okay. steaks were overcooked we asked for medium and got well done. brussel sprouts were my fave part of the meal, seafood mac seemed a bit luke warm but had good flavor. service was great, we went at a less busy dinner time so food and drinks came out quickly
