Excellent post grad dinner. Mike the waiter was great. Recommended the short ribs Wellington which was excellent. Chicken sandwich, rosemary chicken were delicious. Apple pie was enormous. I live in atlanta so I didn’t get their take on chicken and waffles soup.

We had amazing experience here! Jennifer, our waitress was funny, kind and attentive! This would have made our meal… BUT, the food was exceptional. My husband and I had duck, which we only eat out since I can’t find to grill at home. However, on the Jersey Shore duck dishes now range from $42-$52. Our dinners were ONLY $25 and even better than our best restaurants. The house salad with balsamic was out of this world! I’ve never tasted such savory dressing. And dessert(s), apple pie and lemon sorbet… DOUBLY DELICIOUS! Oh! And a great bottle of Cab for $40! There are many great places to eat in Lancaster. However, this experience was truly memorable. Thanks for a great night, you made our weekend. Keep up the great work.

I love Cork & Cap. Our favorite is the crab tip with the variety of crackers & breads for dipping, very yummy. It's a great combination of value, good tasting food, excellent service and a very neat building/decor.

We were the celebrating our anniversary. We told our server that we were not in a rush and wanted to take our time. She definitely adhered to our request.

Second time dining here. Great service and food both visits. This time our server’s name was Mike. He was fantastic! Went above and beyond and made great suggestions. We will definitely be back on our next visit to Lancaster.

Our server was very knowledgeable and accurate with his food descriptions. Although very busy on a Friday night, we never felt rushed. We loved the restaurant’s ambiance . Our crab cake and short rib entrees were delicious.

This is a very nice restaurant for special occasions, with a great ambiance overall. It is also nice that it is in a repurposed historic building which adds to the atmosphere. The food was well prepared and service was attentive. The only drawbacks to the evening were that it was for our anniversary (which was noted in the OpenTable reservation) but no additional acknowledgement was offered. Even without that, being seated in the bar when other tables throughout the restaurant were available, was a downer. The noise level in the bar made it difficult to have a nice, quiet anniversary night out.

Not a great evening. Waited several minutes at the hostess stand before being seated. They brought our entrees before we had finished our salads. Just sent the partially eaten salads back as there was no room on the table for all those plates. Rolls were not warm. I ordered the 8 ounce fillet and it was not a fillet. I’m not sure what I ate. It was almost like a cookie cutter shape from a chuck roast. We are taking this restaurant off our list.

Phenomenal experience! The ambience was very cozy. Our waiter, Mike, was great! Super friendly and served us in a timely manner. The food was absolutely delicious. We had the beef Wellington, beef brisket, and the salmon. We finished off with a crème brule. Very happy with our dining experience and can’t wait to return!

Would highly recommend Cork and Cap for everyone, however, particularly for those with food allergies. Not only did the head chef contact me prior to my reservation to verify my food allergies and review options, when I arrived at the restaurant, there was also a typed list of the available options for me to choose from including appetizers, salads, entrees, and a dessert. Our server, Mike, also went above and beyond in ensuring each selection was safe for me to eat without making me feel like it was a big deal or any sort of inconvenience, which completely put me at ease and allowed me to fully enjoy my meal. All of the food was excellent, very flavorful, and cooked to perfection. It is rare to find a restaurant that is so accommodating to guests with multiple food allergies, that also does not treat them as any sort of inconvenience. I will no doubt be dining there again in the future!

We come back every year for our anniversary dinner after getting married there in 2014. Our experience has always been soo wonderful due to the most welcoming and kind servers who were excited to celebrate with us. They have always given us glasses of champagne to toast and dessert on the house. This year, we came back for our 10th anniversary and our waitress was absolutely miserable and couldn’t care less about our special occasion. We couldn’t wait to leave because we felt like such a chore to her. The food was phenomenal per usual and we greatly enjoyed our meal but we didn’t want to stay and have drinks and talk with bartenders like we always have every other year. Very disappointing to see the staff be this unwelcoming.

Food was expertly prepared, and portions were generous. Generous pour with the wine as well. The seasonal crème brûlée (vanilla bean) for dessert was sensational. Service (by Mike) was exceptional. He was the perfect combination of efficient and personable. This was our first time here, and based on the overall experience, we plan to return.

Our first visit though we’ve been in the area for over a year and eat out often. We were delighted with the atmosphere,decor, service and, of course, the food. The prices were very reasonable for the area and the excellent service we received. My wife had the baked monkfish with carrot purée and I had the brisket- both were excellent. We will be back.

One of our favorite spots to have a date night! We love sitting at the tables near the bar so we can have our favorite bartender/ server, Jenn! Everyone there is so friendly and the food is absolutely outstanding! Must haves: crab dip, edamame potstickers, entree must: ribeye, and crème brûlée for dessert! We will definitely be back :)

Started off with some bread to the table. Food came out quickly and was very good. Ordered the cork burger and rosemary chicken and both were very good, cooked well and flavorful. Only slight complaint was they never mentioned or seemed to be aware of the anniversary I had indicated on our reservation. Overall would return for the food and atmosphere!

Our server (Paula) was great and Mike made a mixed drink that my wife absolutely loved. You simply cannot beat the hush puppies for an appetizer. Dinner was delicious as always!
