Northwest Chef and Edmonds native Jake Wilson brings his signature care for cuisine and jovial grin to Main Street in Downtown Edmonds. At the heart of the kitchen is a charcoal fired grill, inspired by the Argentinian Santa Maria style, and custom built to serve the finest bounties of the Pacific Northwest. Located in the Graphite Art Center building on 2nd and Main, Charcoal is where food and art come to meet.

It is the nicest place to celebrate a birthday as the food and service are excellent and you can have a conversation that can be heard.

Another amazing evening- fabulous food, incredible service, and we never feel rushed. It’s so nice to dine out and have a really wonderful experience. From the food to service- everything was perfect.

From entering until we left it was Excellent. Tosh our server was very enjoyable and very attentive to us. It was our Anniversary and after seating us they gave us a glass of champagne to Celebrate. Great food and spirits

As always, we had a great meal. We enjoyed our food and cocktails. But,I do miss the way you made martinis before. You all used actual olive juice instead of brine and had real blue cheese olives instead of pre-made ones.

Delicious food!! We had the pickled vegetables, burrata, strip steak, and king salmon - All of it Top Notch! Service was fantastic as well!! Our server offered just the right amount of attention while allowing us privacy. Highly recommend!!!

Outstanding food, uniquely crafted with fresh ingredients. Combinations that we wouldn’t have come up with ourselves but were inventive and delicious. The grilled Caesar salad was ever good, and the octopus starter fantastic. My scallops were perfectly cooked. Tuesday night is half price wine night so we opted for wine. We will be back and am looking forward to an old fashioned (our server and bartender was expertly making them and we were envious!).

Disappointing. This was our second time visiting Charcoal and everything seemed a bit off. The drinks weren't well made, the wait staff were harried and our steaks were over done and under seasoned. I'll give them another chance, but they're certainly on watch.
