The Filet Mignon (the special the night we were there) was fabulous and cooked to perfection. It was served with french fries (really???) which were just average. The service was wonderful and the dessert was excellent also. We had cappuccino and expresso, and they make decaf versions of those also, if desired. We sat outside on a perfect evening, though the noise level was moderate since we were near the open doors to the restaurant itself and therefore near the bar. This restaurant is exceptional, but pricey. It's perfect for those special occasions and celebrations when you don't mind spending a bit extra for the highest quality in steaks and service.

This was a business dinner for 7 and we were very happy. We had a comfortable indoor table in a more casual setting and service was very good. Everyone at the table got one of the two specials and Chef Daniel stoppers by to check in on us. Food was excellent. A successful evening.

The service was outstanding! The waiter learned our names and used them throughout the evening, which is one of the keys in any customer service industry. He was attentive, but not overbearing. The food was delicious and excellent presentation. The restaurant was out of a few items, so could not get our first choice, but did enjoy what we had. I wish they had a larger menu selection as it is rather limited, but it is a great little spot in the center of Lancaster and would recommend to friends.

My wife ordered a cocktail that she couldn’t drink. The server never offered a refund, the drink was left on the table throughout the entire dinner. It then appeared on our bill. This seems a bit tacky. The server should have credited us especially since she ordered a different cocktail. If we ever go there again we will not have cocktails but will stick with wine or beer.

Outstanding service. One entree had a problem but the restaurant corrected it right away and didn’t charge her. Very good experience.

My partner and I dined at C’est La Vie for our anniversary. There were outside seating options, which we chose since it was a nice day outside. Our server was Michael, who absolutely made our night. He knew the menu so well and was able to share exactly how each dish was prepared and answer all of our questions. He was so kind and thoughtful. The food was wonderful, and quite honestly, the mashed potatoes were the best we’d ever had. We will certainly be back! Thank you for a great experience!!
