Our waitress (maya) was so great - food was delicious and building is cool. Table was a little small/cramped. Would like to enjoy when the weather is nice and we can be outside.

The moussaka was the best I’ve ever had. I was already planning my next trip back to the restaurant for more moussaka even before I was finished with my meal. Pita and hummus were very good. Good choice for vegetarians. Amazing fig and goat salad. Everything we ordered was fresh with the exception of the chocolate cake. Our waitress was sweet and patient. Moderately priced, very eclectic ambiance. The one disappointment we had was one of our desserts was still half frozen. Definitely will return :)

Everything about our lunch experience was exceptional!! This restaurant is a true gem…excellent service, fine menu, delicious, fresh food, made with care and presented so beautifully. On this day our gracious server was also the chef!! He was quite remarkable!! We enjoyed our quiet table on the second floor balcony seating. Looking forward to returning soon!!

So this quaint little Skippack based restaurant is, for some reason listed on line as being in Schwenksville. its not...slightly confusing. Anyway the reviews speaking about the high quality of the food were spot on. We dined with as a party of four and every dish was veery well executed with a very nice portion. The food was served in a timely manner and portions were very good. The service was attentive but not pesty. The restaurant itself is a very quirky affair. The tables for this Mediterranean gem are upstairs in a Bavarian themed building. Prices ere modest, especially for a byob. So, very good food, good service and its a BYOB. Win, win, win.

What a lovely meal. We had wanted to try Calypso because we really enjoy Mediterranean food. Our expectations were exceeded. From the salad to the entrees to dessert, we were so pleased . We look forward to returning very soon.

Our evening at Calypso began well - we were promptly seated and given menus. Our waitress brought water, wine glasses, and then came back to take our orders. The hummus appetizer arrived soon after and was not only very tasty but generously sized. After that the evening went downhill. After about 30 minutes the waitress informed us our entrees would be ready soon. After another 20 minutes had passed, I inquired again, and she said they'd arrive in 10- 15 minutes. She admitted there was a problem but didn't elaborate on what it was. She asked if we'd like some bread to tide us over, that was appreciated. We ended up waiting over an hour for our entrees. I truly think the chef forgot our order, because we saw another table that arrived after us received their entrees well before us. Not only was nothing offered to compensate us for their mistake, but when we got the bill we saw a $5 charge for the bread! We didn't say anything because at that point we just wanted to leave, and we didn't see anyone to speak with anyway. No one ever came to ask us how everything was. I don't blame the waitress as she was new, it's clear they need a manager who actually cares about service. All in all, a very disappointing experience, our first time there will probably be our last.

A lovely restaurant for an intimate dinner. Our server was gracious and attentive. The menu was inviting and made it difficult to pick one thing. A bit of a wait for our entrees, but worth it. Salads, entrees, dessert…all delicious!! This was our first visit, but will definitely return!!

Food was excellent and moderate priced. Most tables are up stairs. Parking was easy. Only negative is there is only one bathroom and it is male and female.

The Mousakka was one of the best meals I've ever had. Didn't quite make it to dessert but we had a nice cup of hot coffee to round it out.

Sorry for your experience on the slow service & we would definitely try to improve! However beef kebabs are freshly marinated and skewered on the same day so maybe you didn't like how our homemade marinade taste like but let us know next time & maybe we could try to change the ingredients for you guys.

Great menu selections, ambience, service. Easy parking right outside and BYO are welcome additions . Lovely outside courtyard when weather is warm. Loved our apps Mezze platter( great for sharing) , fig and goat cheese salad. Enjoyed entrees of salmon, Lamb Shank, and Black Cod.

If you enjoy Mediterranean food or are interested in trying it, this is a great place. The staff is friendly, and the meals/plates are prepared from scratch. Will be returning again and would definitely recommend it to others.

We had a party of four that went to Calypso on a Wed night. It was not very crowded. Not sure why it was so quiet because the food was very good and Lily our server did a great job taking care of us. The salads and hummus were nice appetizers. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meals. I had the Shish Tawook which was excellent. The potion sizes are very generous. And they have a nice selection of desserts. Definitely try Calypso.

My wife and I along with another couple had a very pleasant dinner at Calypso last night. The outdoor setting was lovely and the entrees were excellent. Our young waiter was pleasant but very inexperienced and the appetizers were disappointing.
