Went there on Sunday and was very dissapointed in the food. Ordered the Rigatoni with lamb ragu and the Lamb was almost undetectable. I found a couple strands but that was it. It was more like Rigatoni with maranara. Portion was also exceptionally small. Our daughter was going there the next day on Monday. Before going she asked how it was and I said, not so great as I shared the story about the dish. After her meal she sent me a text saying tha the meal was "just ok" which is a bit of a dissappointment for a birthday dinner. Dissapointed and confusing for a place that was always a go to for us.

Always enjoy my meals at Burrata. The Seafood appetizer is fabulous..calamari is tender and the sauce has just the right ‘bite’ to it. The Halibut is cooked to perfection and delicious with the risotto. The wait staff is always so pleasant and attentive, the chef turns out delicious and ‘hot’ dishes, the atmosphere is friendly and warm, and the owner is caring and talented. I still rate Burrata the ‘Best’ restaurant in Philly!! I have never been disappointed for all the years I’ve eaten at this restaurant. I highly recommend!!

Excellent pasta special and black fusilli w/lobster. The burrata appetizer is always the best as is the carpaccio octopus. Surprise was a new lemon sorbet. very smooth. Great food and good people taking care of us always.

I visited Burrata for the first time and instantly knew I have to go back. Every dish was divine and the gnocchi is the best I’ve ever had! Service was friendly and between courses the clean up/set up above+beyond what you typically get at other restaurants. I will definitely be visiting again!

First time here. BYO. We shared three courses: Fabulous steak tartare with arugula salad. Pasta special-rigatoni with meat/light cream/tomato sauce with Burrata. Entree special-three lamb chops with amazing brussel sprouts & sweet potato. Professional service, nice room. Easy to recommend!

Great food. the service is fantastic. Antonio is the best, very attentive and super nice. He offered the desserts for us and it was fantastic. We will be back for sure. The octopus was great, and the Ravioli are my favorite

The food and service were excellent. Waiter was very knowledgeable and pleasant. It is in a quiet neighborhood. Our table was in a poor position near the kitchen so there was constant movement around us. Will definitely continue to enjoy this restaurant.

Wonderful pre-theatre dinner! Of course we started with a shared burrata appetizer. It is a very interesting mild cheese, with a brie-like outer part and a creamy middle reminiscent of farmer cheese (the kind in blintzes). My wife had the scallops over spinach and couscous and I got one of the specials, which was branzino over polenta with broccolini and beets. The sauces were all superb. The portions are not huge (which is healthier), so don't hold back on getting an appetizer. We finished off with probably the best tiramisu I've ever had, and a generous dish of cherry gelato. The decaf coffee was delicious.

Very welcoming. Knowledgeable and pleasant wait staff. BYOB is a plus. The Burrata salad was to die for. The special pork dish was delicious as was my dining partner’s pasta dish. All in all a delightful experience. Look forward to a return visit.

Great service, limited menu. I had the rigatoni lamb ragu, it was delicious. Rigatoni was cooked Al dente just as I prefer. My husband prefers chicken parm (not on menu) and our server accommodated him. That also was delicious.

Excellent service by not only the waiter but the entire support staff. Excellent food in a comfortable relaxed atmosphere. Had a wonderful meal and an overall enjoyable experience. Would certainly recommend.

We came in on a Monday night and had wonderful food (burrata appetizer (of course), lobster risotto, blue crab ravioli special and broccolini as a side). It was all so delicious and served efficiently by Sam, who was wonderful. For dessert: one of the best tiramisu we’ve ever had. Highly recommend.

My mother and I had dinner at the South Philly location recently. It's a lovely neighborhood gem and BYOB. They did a delightful job with the ambiance. It seats maybe 30-40 people but they installed sound proofing so the relatively small space never feels too loud. Our servers were attentive, friendly, and orderly. Other patrons were of all ages: a group of 6 young men, elderly couple, a young couple, a couple with their parents, two women. They brought out bread, but the olive oil was the star. My mother got the pork chop, which was cooked perfectly with a well-balanced seasoning. I got the special, which was a sea bass with potatoes, grilled peppers, and vegetables. The fish was expertly cooked and seasoned. My only complaint was the pepper turned out to be spicy and it overpowered the sea bass - but that's more of a personal preference, I suppose. We both would absolutely go back.
