Had an awesome brunch experience. I had the fish and grits as my meal. It was delightful. Seasoned perfectly. My dining mate had the chicken and waffles and said it was delicious. We both appreciate a server who is knowledgeable of the menu.

The change was Bookers is under new management or ownership and told us they no longer honor OpenTable reservations, so we had to wait for an hour or so. Why did that happen?

The atmosphere was energetic and vibrant. The service was excellent. My waitress was very friendly and helpful. I had the chicken, shrimps and waffles with strawberry butter. Very good. Thumbs up.

Outstanding service, but the atmosphere is just too crowded and loud for my tastes. I prefer a more quiet setting where I could take some photos, etc., especially for such a pricey outing. I had reservations, yet had to wait 15 minutes to be seated. I really do understand though - the place is popular. The food is great - fries were a little cold, but the staff was so busy I didn't bother to complain - just handed them off to my friend who was happy to doggy bag everything (something I don't believe in). The staff was great about cleaning up some ketchup I had spilled. I'm thinking this place is better suited for brunch.
