Second time dining at Boat Bar after an amazing first experience in February 2024. The menu had changed, but the wow in the items we tried was just not there compared to the first time we ate there. The smoked scallops was monotone, and the little gem salad with egg dressing and hazelnuts was very disappointing. Should have gotten the asparagus fennel salad. Oysters were excellent but they create themselves. Service was excellent. Probably won't return, or at least check I'll check the menu beforehand.

The food was great! The service was wonderful but attention trailed off at the end of the meal. First time here and really enjoyed it!

Inventive food and drink items, delicious. Especially enjoyed variety of locally sourced oysters, the geoduck with fresh chervil, black truffle puree and diced green apple, and the burger. Fries mildly over salted but overall highly recommend!

The cut of the steak frites was extremely fatty and surprising for how well known Bateau and Boat Bar are for their steak. I was disappointed by the price and value… $32 for a cheap cut of fatty steak is a stretch. And not to mention $20 for a salad. This restaurant is gorgeous on the inside — but for the value and quality of this expensive and eh meal…. I won’t be back anytime soon.

Fries are great, bigger fries with fish n chips were even better! Fish was soggy and mealy. Burger is actually a large slider. Salad dressing bland. Mushroom pate too sweet. $22 + tax + tip for a Negroni!

Really bummed to have had a poor experience here. Was my first time back since the pandemic. Service was very slow, took 30 mins to get a cocktail and after 50 mins of waiting for a dozen oysters ordered we were told it would be longer, we ended up cancelling the oysters because we had to get somewhere else. With so many other options in Seattle I don’t see myself returning here or recommending it.

The service was friendly but painfully slow. We consistently needed to ask the status of cocktails and certain plates. This was my third time at the restaurant but I only had this experience with this visit
