Bloom Southern Kitchen is a farm to table restaurant located in the historic Eagle Tavern, a local landmark since 1702.

Bloom’s teams are focused on delivering an incredible dining experience that begins in the kitchen with local ingredients. Dining in our restaurant transports you to the south where charming hospitality and incredible cocktails await.

We visited Bloom for Mother's Day Dinner and could not have been more pleased with our experience. Food options were plentiful, cocktail, beer and wine selections (especially the huge bourbon list!) and desserts were great. Above all, the service was immaculate-prompt and courteous

Good food, nice atmosphere. Quite loud when crowded, difficult to hold conversations. But good service, little pricey but it was a special occassion

We had excellent service. We were well looked after. The staff apologized for the delay of my cornbread order. ( I didn’t mind waiting). I’ve never had a restaurant” get ahead ot it” and apologize. That is a strong indication that they look out for their customers. The food was delicious!

Great food, especially hush puppies. Great grits. The chicken looked terrific. I'll try it next time. One criticism: A restaurant like this should have oysters.

Food is generally good. Service is awesome, attentative and professional. We loved our appetizer fried oysters and picked fried green tomatoes. Entries are seafood jambalaya and fried chicken & waffles; they were delicious Our side order buttermilk biscuits were somewhat dry. We ordered Beignets for deserts and they were disappointing. The menu describes it's New Orleans style but they tasted thick and dense. The worst of all they are very hard and chewy. Our waiter was very apologetic and asked if we wanted to speak to the manager. I declined and suggested to pass our comments to the kitchen for improvement.

What a delightful experience! Ambience could be described as Southern Charm meets 1800s Pennsylvania (that's a good thing!). Food could be described as Nouvelle Southern - little tasty tweaks and twists that are delightful. We began with the biscuits and fried green tomatoes. Entrees were the tenderloin, meatloaf (a family sized portion!) and a pumpkin ravioli special. We will be back to try the others as these were absolute winners. The kids had fried chicken and cheeseburger, which were just as good as the adult entrees (ya, we snooked a bite or two). And I wish I was a bourbon drinker: they have 200+ bourbons on hand and I guess I'm going to have to develop a taste for such. Don't hesitate to book!

Bloom is a cute little restaurant right in Eagle, Pa. When you walk in your welcomed and shown into their very nice dinning room, the decor is thought out, the music matches the vibe and the servers were great. We had a reservation for 5:30 and got out by 6:30. Food was out fast and was it delicious. I would definitely recommend. The menu is very versatile with options for dietary restrictions. Put Bloom on your list of places to try.

Love this place. Fantastic laid back atmosphere and ambiance. The food is fantastic. I would love to say every item on the menu is, but honestly I am so smitten with the fried chicken and waffle that I can’t bring myself to try anything else. Bit my wife says everything she has tried is top notch as well! Great food, great staff, great setting!

Highly recommend this eatery. Very nice atmosphere and the staff is extremely cordial and courteous. The hush puppies are terrific and I can recommend everything on the menu as I've tried just about every main course item since my first visit.

Good southern menu items. The atmosphere was very warm and inviting. We were there for a Sunday Brunch and our server, Angela was super nice and very attentive. I'm from the south and I seek out restaurants that have this type of menu. We will surely return to Bloom for another meal soon..

We have been to Bloom many times since it first opened and often have raved about it to others. While the prices have remained the same the quality is not what it once was. We found out they have a new pastry chef. So instead of the fluffy biscuits ordered as a side for the table they were five small 2” round biscuits. The crab cakes once had lump crabmeat but now are mostly breading. The beignets were dark brown (almost burnt in color and texture). The saving grace was the stuffed salmon served on plain rice. Due to volume in restaurant the server had a difficult time hearing the orders, but he was kind and attentive. Hoping they go back to their original style and quality.

Good experience, good food. A heads up to the allergy crowd… they let us know they really aren’t capable of preventing cross contamination with shellfish allergy.

A sad state that the Front of the house Staff are so horrendously under-trained and lacking the polish that the guests deserve. The mixologists and chef are done a severe disservice by the negative first impression of this establishment. Simple basic courtesy & communication training would pay significant dividends for the guest experience.

Wally and the whole staff was attentive, engaging, and delightful in carrying out their duties. The food was worth the 50 minute drive. Well priced, appropriately sized, and flavorful without being overbearing. The BOUDIN BALLS were delectable.

Ambience great! Lunch Menu offers great options to choose from. The gazpacho and green fried tomatoes are the best! I recommend with the charred corn salad add a protein to it for a bigger appetite. Friend had an omelet and spicy roasted potatoes and enjoyed it. Another person had the peach salad loaded with goodies on a bed of spinach. I don't recommend the ice cream with espresso coffee poured over it. Not worth the money. But recommend the creamy chocolate smore dessert.

Bloom Southern Kitchen is my new Go To for dinner or lunch with friends. The food is awesome regardless of what you order- altho my favorite will always be the excellent chicken and waffles with hot honey. Or the fried pickled green tomatoes on the jalapeño egg salad. Oh! Who can chose!! Go!
