Felicia Wilson-Bell and Executive Chef Darryl Harmon have teamed up for the second time to launch a newly successful restaurant – BlackHen Fried Chicken. Offering gourmet fried chicken unlike any other, this new venture is sure to amaze its customers. Plus, their unique take on brunch is not one to miss out on!     Absolutely a vibe! I took my high school grad and his friends to celebrate and our experience was great. Food was hot & flavorful. Our waitress was attentive and friendly, I didn’t get her name but the gratuity was added in the bill but I tipped her extra when I paid our bill. Definitely worth checking out. #supportblackowned #womanowned

    They are still having growing pains. Our reservation was at 7:15 seated at 8. The staff looks exhausted and abused. The food was only ok in my opinion. The dining area is very small and there is nothing to absorb noise. Hard to talk over the cacophony. They have lots of potential and LOTS of room for improvement.

    The service is excellent. It's a small place, and reservations are recommended. The mac and cheese is good, and overall, the food is good.

    This is a great establishment and highly recommend. It’s always good service and food always hot and freshly cooked. I love that and will return. Prices are on point. Cornbread I could eat all day. Definitely worth the 1hr 9 min drive.

    Very small area to eat and the tables are very close to each other music is very loud you can't really speak to each other

    The food was amazing 10 out of 10 for the chicken tenders, and deviled eggs. I wish the dessert portion was a little bit bigger. Our server was super nice and friendly, few hiccups with our order but she addressed it promptly. I would definitely go back and recommend this place to a friend.

    I was late to my reservation but they were very accommodating and the service from Shay was amazing

    An unnecessary place to get soul food… desert high way robbery… the chicken was good, Mac is ard, greens were delicious and yams I’d pass! The space is so small that it shouldn’t even be a sit down place …. Cornbread with chocolate dipping sauce is insane not to mention the fact that the cornbread alone wasn’t great!

    We made reservations for 3 at 12 pm when we got there the door was open but no one was there chairs were still on tables

    Venue was on the smaller side so reservations are suggested. Servers and other restaurant staff were attentive however the wait time on one our entrees was a tad long so we ended up getting it to go. It’s BYOB but they do charge a corking fee. Tried to flare it up some with a different spin on a few appetizers but they too were just ok.
