Went there for Mother’s Day préfixe menu dinner. First course was very nice but second course I picked the chicken dish, it was disappointing,the chicken kind of chewy and bland. The dessert was good.

It has become a Mother's Day tradition to dine here. We usually go for brunch but decided on dinner this year. Food was great. servings were larger than expected. We ordered a third appetizer to share, and it was almost too much. But glad we did because they were all delicious. Chip and his team never disappoint.

Blackfish continues to be the best restaurant we know of not in center city Philly. Once a quarter for us..... quarter after quater..... The Brussel Sprout salad this time; salmon with quail egg the next time. Time after time. Had the Bronzino 3 course special testing menu for the Mrs. Awesome. Came with Key lime pie desert that would be hard to describe but if on the menu when you go - order it! Kind of a mouse meets a chiffon meets ???. Words are not enough. Order it if on the menu!!! One of our favorite restaurants. Period. Thanks Blackfish.

We visited for the first time in a few years. The menu is about the same which was what we wanted and still very good. The staff was attentive and the facilities about the same but it was less “fine dining” and more like a comfortable expensive coat that has grown a little shabby. It still looks and feels great, but definitely not new. We will be back. It’s comfy.

Yet another excellent meal at Blackfish. The picture of consistency….that very hard to achieve restaurant attribute. We had the “Blackfish” tasting. Yes it was all black sea bass done numerous ways…..all amazing. This is one of very few standout restaurants in the Philly burbs.

This was my second time having dinner at Blackfish. Have done the 5 course tasting both times. Food is unique and amazing. Feel like this place is a hidden gem. Not many restaurants like it.

My wife and I have dined at Blackfish many times over many years. It is our “go to” for every celebration. Last night we celebrated our 30th anniversary there, as we did with our 20th and every year in between. In all of those visits we have never been anything less than delighted on every level. The food, service, and ambiance have always been stellar. I must add, our server, Veronica is the best there is! She has always made us feel welcome and special. We love Blackfish…and Veronica.

I have been frequenting this restaurant for almost 20 years. I had the lobster tasting menu, which was very delicious and including a sizable amount of lobster in each course. The servers and the entire staff are always very attentive.

What a great reataurant. Veronica greeted us and was so attentive to us, especially my friend’s dietary concerns. The food was absolutely fantastic and presented beautifully. I will definitely be back and soon. The salmon sampler was delectable and priced just right

Once identified as a best restaurant in the Philadelphia area by Philadelphia Magazine. We started going there several times a year and still do. This time, the miso and pasta based appetizer, short ribs and shrimp dish were outstanding. For us, Blackfish remains one of the best in the Philadelphia area. Love the beignets!

The tasting of Gilt-head Sea Bream we had last night was a reminder of why Blackfish is still an essential restaurant for us. We visit as often as we can, and it's worth the drive. Chef Roman is a gifted chef who knows how to showcase the ingredients he chooses every week for his tasting menus. This restaurant is also an outstanding value for the quality. Sure, Vernick Fish is a seafood temple, but Blackfish is BYOB, and for far less money, I find myself saying "Wow" just as much with every bite.

Blackfish is a fun, energetic restaurant in Conshohocken. The food was very good and we love the fact that it is BYOB. We had a tuna appetizer that was very tasty. My wife had the Dorade and I had the scallops for dinner. Both were cooked really well and tasted great.

The food was fantastic as usual. The chef is very inventive and combines ingredients in very interesting ways. The staff is very friendly and nice. It can get a little noisy.

I have enjoyed many very good meals there, however, this visit the food (short rib) was cold and not enough sauce. The service was not attentive, at all.

I have been trying to visit Blackfish since they opened and was never able to successfully plan enough ahead of time to nab a reservation at a normal 5-7 pm dinner time. It was always completely booked during the times that I wanted to eat out with my wife. Finally, I was able to get a 6:00pm reservation and we only live 15 to 20 mins away, so I figured that I had aced it. What I forgot was that Conshy is a very popular area for the area restaurants on the weekends and parking is a nightmare! Arrived at about 5:45, but was not able to find adequate parking (I drive a mid size SUV) until about 6:15. Luckily, they held our table and we were able to dine. The food was very good, but our table was in kind of a weird spot in the back dining room. The place is small, so the tables are tight. The waitstaff did a good job to quickly and often navigate through the narrow passages between the tables and customers. My only complaint was that the place is very LOUD! Unfortunately, also that night, our server had lost her voice, so it was a challenge to understand her, but she did a great job and apologized for the inconvenience.

I've only been to Blackfish twice, but both times were underwhelming. Food was overly seasoned and too salty across the board. I appreciate the intention behind the dishes, but less is more in some cases. I will not be going back and will likely not recommend it to friends.
