Le Bistrot La Minette est l'aboutissement du rêve du chef cuisinier Peter Woolsey, qui a commencé il y a 10 ans au cours de ses premiers pas d'étudiant en France : ouvrir un restaurant qui partage son amour de l'expérience de bistrot authentique avec les habitants de Philadelphie. Peter porte un grand respect aux plats traditionnels qu'il crée et honore les méthodes classiques françaises pour une cuisine de bistrot unique. Ses plats salés et ses pâtisseries sont en constante évolution pour tenir compte des saisons, de la disponibilité des meilleurs ingrédients et de l'inspiration du chef. Ils sont issus des différentes régions françaises et de la multitude de délices que chacune peut offrir. Le service est à la fois efficace et chaleureux, avec une grande attention à l'hospitalité et à l'accueil. Quintessential French Bistrot. Menu is short but each dish is expertly prepared. Be sure to stay for dessert. Knowledgeable and helpful waiter. Aperitives & Digestives would be hard to find elsewhere in PA. Cocktails are also good. Relatively 'chill' environment on a Friday night.

Very good. They need to bring back the old duck breast recipe with the option of seared foie gras and the foie gras sauce included. That was 10/10. The new recipe is still good just not on the level of the older duck. Rabbit is still fantastic along with other apps. Cocktails could use some adjustment’s along with better ice for cocktails.

Our second time here and it really was as good as we remembered! From starters to desserts to drinks in between, everything was superb. We took my mom this time, and she is really hard to please. Even she was happy. It’s our new local favorite.

A meal here never disappoints. We were there for the Dinner in Ardeche. Everything was wonderful. The wine pairings were lovely. The pork melted in my mouth. The soup was earthy, with deep flavors, and the potato pancake was light and exceptional. And then we ended with a blueberry tart with lemon crème freîche. Just the best.

Amazing dinner as usual! Loved everything from st German Kit to the steak and the rubarb tart. Daughter loved the escargot and the duck. Yum! We will be back

Went with 5 friends, we ALL enjoyed our meal. The trout with almonds in brown butter sauce, excellent. Raspberry dessert, wonderful. Soup and salads were also delicious. Plan for many return visits!

We loved this spot! Relatively quiet, great food and service. The asparagus soup was so flavorful and smooth, its bright color reflecting its freshness. Excellent duck—fig sauce was spot on as was the cognac cream with the steak au poivre. Simple decor but clean and comfortable. Food was first class.

We've been dining at Bistrot La Minette a few times per year since 2012. We've sampled much of the menu as well as some of the special dinners offered over the years. We'll keep coming back for all of the obvious reasons.

Always a wonderful experience. Love Peter’s cuisine. And the staff are so hospitable. We can’t get enough of this place. Having a place in South France, we love coming here when we’re in town. See you again soon!

Amazing service and recommendations from our waiter, all the food was delicious, and the best sezerac I've had anywhere in Philly. House wine by the pitcher was also extremely affordable, will be back to try the rest of the menu!

The food and service were great, and for that reason my wife and I would go back. Prices were a little high in my opinion, but worth it for special events. I also appreciated the little details: it was my birthday, and instead of the traditional cake they put a candle on a plate with the phrase “happy birthday “ beautifully written on it with chocolate.

La minette has always been one of my favorite restaurants for comfort food. Saturday night was a disappointment. I adore foie gras, but that night it was seared too much. The beef tartar was very good, but the very crisp bread overwhelmed it. I finally ate the tartar with regular bread because it didn’t overwhelm it as the Uber crisp bread did. The mille feuille- another one of my favorites- tasted like it had sat in the fridge too long: the cream was slightly off- not sour but with a fridge taste.My 2 friends agreed Bistrot la Minette was not up to our fond recollections.

It was our first visit to Bistrot La Minette - it will not be our last. The food and service were excellent. We enjoyed the rabbit and Coq au Vins - not to mention the dessert.

Great cocktails, entrees and main dishes. From the martinis and kir royales to the warm breath to foie gras to trout and duck and rabbit then millefeuille and sorbet. Wow!!! Great evening at Bistrot La Minette. ( wished waiter who was great spoke French)

There is a problem with salt. Tartare was over salted, escargot didn’t have salt at all, although main course was very good. None of my guests complained about the main course but appetisers unfortunately have some issues. It’s not bad but it’s not the place you’d like to return, especially for a special event like birthday.

Excellent traditional French food with added flair, in a almost-perfect French environment (in France, quarters would be tighter - no complaints there). Quiet atmosphere is appreciated in otherwise generally loud Philly restaurant scene. We had a few missteps in timing of food/beverage deliveries to table, but were compensated with a couple glasses of wine - no complaints there either. Highly recommend.

The 4 course fois gras dinner was excellent, as were the wine pairings for it. Brava! As always, the hostess, Maureen, was extremely helpful and accommodating. It's also nice to be at a restaurant and be able to hold a conversation without shouting to be heard. It feels like a superb home meal.

First time in and won’t be the last. Authentic French bistro down to the chocolates with the bill. Lovely ambience. Nice to be able to hear dining companions even when there’s a full house. And the food was spectacular.

Excellent in every way! Server was helpful and pleasant. Drinks were great. Everyone loved their starters and entrees. No pressure to leave. We were a group of 5. Had halibut, duck and steak. Escargots and foie gras. All excellent.
