    It was a wonderful experience. The food was great so was the service . We will be back again. it’s a must try. Crabcakes are excellent.

    Patrick, our server, was exceptional! The food was fresh, nicely plated and delicious. The ambiance would have been improved with a more appropriate wine glass. Thank you for a lovely evening.

    Splendid experience - as usual. We sat out by the river on a wonderful late spring evening. Our server Patrick was attentive without hovering. Excellent recommendations on the wines and dinner menu. The oysters were fresh, tender and delicious. She had the lobster/Bibb salad; I the red snapper with Morel mushrooms. Loved every bite. Banks never disappoints.

    The hostess was very friendly and reviewed our reservation with us. Told her we would be at the bar as we were a little early. Bartender was very nice and great at his job. Drinks were perfect and we ordered oysters that were absolutely amazing. We were escorted to our choice to dine alfresco good choice watching people stroll by the river. Pat was our server and extremely personable, knew the menu well and in our 51 years of dining out he was by far one of the very best server we have ever had take care of us. 5 stars for PAT!! Our apps and meal were wonderful to say the least and we WILL return to your fine restaurant. Being from Maine we know our seafood...and yours rates right there with the best!

    We have been long standing customers of Banks for special occasions and just a night out. I have always been impressed by the food which with the exception of salmon bones on the sashimi was up to par. The service is what was really off this visit. My brother and his wife were here from Maine to celebrate my 60th. We arrived and they had no menus when they seated us, after what seemed like a long wait, we go 2 for a party of 4. Then finally two more, no water or drinks or even a hello from the wait staff. service started but was just slow. something I am not used to at Banks. Just not up to the usual 4-star food and service we are used to. Sorry I really never complain
