Celebrate at the Bainbridge Apothecary and Tea Shop with a proper Afternoon Tea Service . Your event will consist of three courses: tea sandwiches, soup, puffed pastry, scones with clotted cream and jam, and sweets. Enjoy all-you-can-drink tea!

We are seating in either the Wedgewood Parlor or on our charming Deck of Wonder! Each environment has its own magical elements. You cannot be over-dressed for this occasion!

The concept of afternoon tea was originated by a Duchess in England who wanted a small meal in the afternoon between lunch and dinner. This mid-afternoon meal was shared with her friends and was a moment of peaceful civility. Now it’s your turn to have this precious respite.

Approx. 2 hour time slot.

Experience the elegance of Afternoon Tea with three exquisite courses, all accompanied by the indulgence of all-you-can-drink tea. Start with delicate tea sandwiches or flaky puff pastries, followed by warm scones served with clotted cream and jam. Finish on a sweet note with a selection of delectable treats. Join us for a memorable journey of taste and tradition, where your cup of tea is always full and your afternoon is steeped in refinement. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate gluten or egg allergies; please call ahead for others. Price structure includes $58/person, 18% autograt, and 9.1% tax.

I took my family for a girls day tea party. It was beyond expectations. Lovely tea selections, lovely accoutrements and food was fantastic. I was stuffed by the end. We had the little cottage all to ourselves and it was amazing. Would highly recommend.

Met daughter and I met my friend and her daughter for tea. The tea selection was great. I liked that you could try as many teas as you wanted. The sandwiches were good and the tomato soup was my favorite. We sat in the cottage and it was very private and pleasant. There was only one other group in there and it was pleasant. Would do it again! I like that it’s much closer than the Fairmont and would come back here for holiday tea.

A friend and I, who needed to catch up after many years, made reservations for Afternoon Tea at the Bainbridge Apothecary and Tea Shop. It could not have been lovelier. First, Erica (who works in the retail shop; the owner is also named Erica) was gracious and knowledgeable in helping us choose our first pots of tea (unlimited tea is part of the Afternoon Tea!) I chose an apricot green tea, and my friend chose the Cuppa Magic tea. Erica then led us to the little tea house behind the retail shop. The decor is cute and fun, sort of what you would envision from an eccentric but proper Great Aunt. The server, Dalton, brought our tea and answered some questions in a friendly way. Then, the owner, Erica, brought us the requisite three-tiered serving tray filled with little mugs of the most delicious tomato soup, savory tarts, cucumber tea sandwiches, and many tiny, yummy things. She even brought us extra tarts because she felt the others weren't entirely up to par (they were, though). We happily ate everything. When we finished, we returned to the retail shop to take advantage of the 10% discount on tea that comes with the Afternoon Tea service. While we browsed, Carrot Cake, a magnificent orange tabby with a curly tail, graced us with his catly presence. After buying our tea with the expert help of Erica of the Retail Shop, we left, delighted with our experience. I am already making plans to go again Delicious, relaxing, and fun 10/10

What a gem! We lucked into a reservation on the weekend, and spent a leisurely afternoon enjoying the ambience (and delicious food and tea) in the little cottage in back of the store, all to ourselves! There was no real rush to get through the service, which was just what we needed to spend time catching up with each other. Each course was delightful and so very delicious! While I want to give kudos for this wonderful place, I worry that getting another reservation in the future might be more difficult! We loved it.

We enjoyed our time at the Tea shop. It was like stepping away from a busy life and very relaxing. Every bite of food was delicious.
