The bartender was wonderful. The special for the day were oysters from Hood Canal and they were the best we’ve had. Would definitely come back!

Wonderfully prepared Brunch choices for Mother's Day. Presentation was pleasant and our server Rhonda was very attentive to our needs. Alchemy has improved its food quality and service over the past two years after Managment changes in a positive manner.

The Alchemy restaurant was a pleasant surprise and the experience of dining there added favorably to our visit to Port Townsend, WA. The ambiance was elegant, the service was attentive, and the food was excellent!

We especially appreciate the ambiance in the lounge/bar area; there are a number of tables there, and that's where we almost always eat. The staff is professional, but friendly, available without being intrusive. Excellent place for dinner.

We hadn't eaten a Alchemy in quite a while, and had forgotten what a pleasure it is to eat there. Ambiance is great... food exceptional, and Rhonda, our waitress was the best.

The restaurant didn’t seem prepared for the Valentines Day rush. We didn’t get seated for a 6:30 reservation until well after 7:00. The hostess seemed to complain to us that people were were taking 2.5 hours to eat which is why there was a backup at the podium. When we were finally seated, we found that in reality, the service and kitchen were slow. Our waiter seemed a bit stressed and apologized to us multiple times. I was served the wrong entree and the waiter forgot that he hadn’t run my credit card until I flagged him down. Another apology. Through no fault of our own, our dinner lasted 2.5 hours as well.

We switched to a table for 6 when we discovered that two friends had a reservation at the same time! Our server was helpful and charming. It was a special menu for Valentine's Day and each course was perfect. Food was amazing. We felt like we were in an upscale restaurant in Europe as we never felt rushed and were allowed to take time to converse between courses. Can't wait to enjoy another meal at this wonderful restaurant.
