Big thumbs up for the Plumsteadville Inn. The food is straightforward pub fare and the portions are typically enough for 2 meals so plan for doggie bags! The French Onion soup was awesome!

2nd time here and we like the casual bar area over the more formal dining rooms but with same menu nice touch in bar with live music. ample portions of good food. the bbq chicken was very good as was the petit filet. reasonable prices for everything including beers and cocktails. very young inexperienced waitstaff but accommodating. in todays employment world, you get what is available worth a try and will be there again!

Always great food here. We tried the pork chop for the first time. Outstanding! Tastes like a grilled steak. Others had the french dip and Cesear salad with shrimp, all were great. We will continue to come back here as long as the food stays this good. And the prices are reasonable for the quality of the food.

Went for Mother’s Day dinner. Made a reservation & was seat promptly as usual. Waiter was very attentive & funny. Food came out in a reasonable time & was piping hot. Portions were large-always have leftovers as usual. Looking forward to going back for Father’s Day.

Mother's Day brunch at the Plum is always my family's go-to! We just love everything about it. The service was amazing, food was so yummy and we all left very satisfied. We will definitely be back next year!

Been there a few times...always a consistent experience. I believe the server was Andrew and he was great as were the people who brought out the order. Ordered appetizer and entree and both were outstanding. We had reservations on Saturday and you can tell the place is ran well with great people. We will most definitely be back. Thanks

My wife and I had a date night. We had decided last minute on a Friday to make a reservation. We got to the restaurant and maybe waited 5 minutes to be seated. Service was prompt and she was very pleasant. We ordered our food, and it was prepared and served in a timely manner and was excellent. The waitress would stop periodically to check if we needed any refills or anything else. It was a wonderful evening.

Server was rude and condescending. Snippy when asked for water. Seems she has been there a while, I guess that’s complacency. Won’t be running back and have been there.

Food was tasteless. Scallops were overcooked. Linguine was overcooked, barely any white wine sauce. Bread was stale.

Our server Linda was funny, attentive, and helpful. Our food came out in a timely manner and was nice and hot. Only reason for the 4 stars is that both of our dishes were slightly too salty and my husband felt like the char on his steak overpowered the taste of the meat. But, we both did enjoy our meals and certainly small tweaks would bump that to a 5. We thought the garden room was more for a romantic date night out but there were families with kids in there which made it a bit noisier than we were expecting. The room itself was beautiful, though. We love the Sunday brunch too and if we lived closer, we would be here probably every week. We are excited for our event being held here in July!

We met some friends for dinner and even though the restaurant was very busy, our service was outstanding, the food was delicious and we had an amazing time! All the staff was very diligent about clearing empty plates and bringing us whatever we needed. I would highly recommend the Inn and we can't wait to go back!

Plumbsteadville is becoming my favorite place to have a meal. As usual service was great, Katie also makes a kickin Cranberry Whiskey Sour. The food was exceptional, we shared the kobe beef sliders as our appetizer, I had the chicken salad pita (for the 3rd time), bf had chicken parm and my friend had a chicken cutlet on brioche - we all were very happy and even had some to take home for later!

Our waiter Clay was excellent, super attentive and friendly! We had good cocktails, mine was the special raspberry cosmo and it was delicious! The salad were excellent, hubby had the wedge and loved it and I had the special grilled strawberry salad with goat cheese and pistachios, awesome! Dinner entrees were the terrific steak and special lamb chops of the day, four very good chops served with baked potato( on the small side) plenty of broccoli! Desert was crème brûlée and profiteroles! Both very good!!!

Enjoyed dinner! We shared 3 delicious apps - chicken lettuce wraps, Kobe beef sliders and bang bang shrimp; and one entree - the crab cakes. All fantastic, and the added bonus - we had enough leftovers for a second meal the next day, due to the generous portions!

I love it at the Plumsteadville Inn, great food, great service, and an overall great place. I would definitely recommend it. Try the pretzel appetizers they’re awesome!

Had chicken parm and the marinara was way too spicy and not enjoyable. Amazing sweet potato fries. Other than that, dinner was good.

The 3 young ladies (long blond hair, long curly brown hair, and a girl who looks like she's 13) who serve as hostesses were unfriendly and rude. We checked in for our 7pm reservation and the girls could barely look up from their iPad to acknowledge us let alone offer a warm smile. We were told they'd seat us soon. We then watched 4 separate couples walk in for 7pm reservations who were promptly seated with a smile. Engaging with these 3 hostesses is the primary reason we don't eat here often. The waitress was phenomenal and the food was good, which is why we chose the inn for dinner.

Went here for lunch with friends and sat in the Garden Room, which has a pretty view of the outdoor dining area and gardens. Food was very good and large portions. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu options. We were served in a timely manner. Looking forward to our next visit.
