Small and romantic we specialize in celebrations with family and friends, or just a quiet dinner with good conversation. We are family owned and operated and have been serving our community since 2001.

Drive in to Opera Alley and be transported. We strive to bring approachable food and beverage, a sense of comfort and community, as well as a unique and quality dining experience. We call ourselves a "cafe" in the sense that we are not pretentious and offer a fine dining experience in an atmosphere of comfort and respite.

Parking in Opera Alley, and downtown, can be a bit of a challenge, especially on the weekends, so please be sure to give yourself plenty of time when making reservations to find a parking space, or consider a night off from driving and get an Uber or Lift!! Eat good food often, break bread with friends and family, spend time with those you love, and we will see you soon.

Because we are a small scratch kitchen, in order to ensure everyone's food is timely and consistent, no substitutions can be made. Please also know that we do offer gluten free options, however we are not a gluten free or vegan kitchen. Please know that parties of 2 have a 1&¾ hour table time for your reservation and parties of 4 have 2 hour table times per reservation. Such an amazing establishment, you can truly see that they care. The food was by far some of the best flavors I’ve experienced in the area. It’s a must!!

Our recent visit to Over the Moon was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere set a perfect stage for a memorable dining experience. The service was impeccable, showcasing professionalism and attentiveness that made us feel truly valued as guests. The food was outstanding, with each dish prepared to perfection. We had the Over the Moon Lasagne and the scallops as our two entrées. The lasagne was deliciously rich and comforting, layered with a perfect balance of cheese and sauce that melted in the mouth (no pasta!). The scallops were seared to a golden perfection, tender on the inside with a delightful crispness on the outside. Each bite was a testament to the chef's expertise and attention to detail. Adding to our wonderful dining experience was our waitress, who was both knowledgeable and kind. She expertly guided us through the menu, making recommendations that enhanced our meal and demonstrating an impressive understanding of the cuisine and ingredients. Overall, Over the Moon Restaurant delivers an exquisite dining experience that expertly combines superb service, culinary excellence, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. It is a gem that promises not just a meal, but a culinary journey that is absolutely unforgettable. This was our 6th time there and we'll be back again!

My boyfriend and I loved our experience. The little box of love notes was really fun to go through too. The food was exceptional! And the prices were decent. I had scallops with risotto and my boyfriend had shrimp linguine. We will definitely be back! Thank you for a romantic evening:)

We chose this restaurant for our anniversary because of the incredible experiences we have had previously. We were greeted with good wishes, a red rose, rose petals on our table and a card. The bleu cheese wedge was perfect especially with the warm sourdough bread. We both had duck which is my favorite. No one does it better! We finished with lemon posset with a candle and more well wishes scribed in the plate. Add in a great bottle of wine and as always-amazing!

We made a reservation for 5;45 pm and arrived early (around 5:15) expecting to wait. They were able to seat us right away. The restaurant is small so I strongly recommend making a reservation ahead of time, but the atmosphere is perfect. It is the cutest little cafe-style eatery. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The food was AMAZING, drinks were handcrafted, and desserts were beautifully presented. We were not disappointed by any aspect of our visit.

The food was excellent, our server, Danielle, was perfect. The ONLY complaint I have is that the chairs were really uncomfortable for a short girl. They were sitting room chairs -- low with a large seat and large back.
