Waiter had an N95 mask on and that just about ruined everything. It was so uncomfortable that we just wanted to get out of there.

We sat at the bar and though the service was very good (and the bartender attentive) the place just felt like it was going downhill compared with the last few times we went. It was relatively quiet and it appeared that there were some issues with management— we overheard a couple of heated discussions between who we thought was a manager and one of the staffers. This was right in front of us. The bar had that “just wiped clean” smell— not terribly appetizing. When I ordered my drink, I had to wait because they didn’t have a glass for it. And when I finally got my drink, it was warm. I had to request a straw to mix the ice into the drink. The food was good, though, and seemed fresh, service otherwise was fine. But it just seems that they are dealing with management and staffing issues—I guess like every other place these days.

We ordered the Waldorf salad, Fish and chips and the kiddies has pizza and chicken tenders. Everything was excellent, the Waldorf salad was the best. Our waiter was very pleasant and professional. We will definitely be returning.

As we were looking for a place to eat in Ardmore, as our son had swim practice, we made a spur-of-the-moment reservation at Not Your Average Joe's, which we hadn't been to in several years. Though the wait staff was polite, the service was incredibly slow & inattentive. Our meals came out before the entry, and most of the food was served at room temperature (I ordered the jambalaya, our son ordered the chicken fingers, and my wife ordered the grilled chicken salad). The whipped feta points platter had two types of pita points (hard/crispy and soft), and the whipped feta was not whipped throughout, as there were large chunks of feta. The best part of the meal was that we saw acquaintances of ours as we were finally paying and trying to leave.

The 3 cheerless hostesses were miserable, could not be bothered to look up, smile or greet the large number of patrons clogging up the entrance. They could neither address the needs of those simply picking up a takeout order, efficiently seat people who already had a reservation nor share any type of pleasantry with anyone. Their extreme lack of eye contact and friendliness was alarming and off-putting, setting a disconsolate mood for our evening. The service was terrible, the cocktails took ages to arrive and when they did, they were un-drinkable. 3 out of 4 people received their dinner, but the 4th (who ordered only a side of grilled chicken) received 5 bites of chicken maybe 15 minutes later. The bill was wrong, the server did not check back with us. It was a horrendous experience.

A little expensive and the jambalaya was a little cold. The burger was okay. Could have been a little bigger. Our waitress was excellent!

Met up with a good friend, and NYAJ's didn't disappoint. I come here often, but this was my first time trying the brunch menu. I had The Joe, and instead of eggs over easy I preferred them fried hard, and my friend ordered The Burger with sweet potato fries instead of regular fries. Both came out in a timely manner, and were delish

Quick girls happy hour and we had a ball!! Lizzy our server was so sweet and ensured that our dietary restrictions were honored. My friend wanted to celebrate Unicorn Day so we included her in the celebration. Great food and drinks. Happy hour prices were good. Coming back again real soon. Tuna Wontons amazing with cucumber

Went here for our Easter dinner. Family enjoyed Haddock, steak, and a burger. It had been awhile since we visited here and it was quite enjoyable. They have a happy hour I’ve wanted to go to. It is now back at the top of my mind. Stores were closed so only window shopping. Parking garage is free and simple. Enjoy!

Usually go a few times a year, to Ardmore's Not Your Average Joe's. The place needs to close for a week or so and get spruced/cleaned up. The bathroom was clean but elsewhere not. The elevator walls and floor really need a scrub. Floors need to be redone. The area (ice machine?) close to the elevator was very dirty. Chairs need to be evaluated - the 'upscale' one I sat on sank in the middle and the covering was badly cracked. Even though we had a reservation and the restaurant was not busy the table was not set up so when the bread & oil came there were no plates or silverware bundles. I went to empty tables and got plates for our group. Eventually we got silverware bundles. The table was sticky in places and had to be cleaned. Food was Okay. This restaurant has been used hard and money has not been put back in to maintain it. Can't say we'll be back or recommend it again.

We had a large party (17) and only supplied one person to assist us, she was awesome and very accommodating. The atmosphere was great and again the service was top-notch but the food wasn't good at all. I was very disappointed especially because I was looking forward to hearing here, never again.

We love coming here to dine in. Food is always good and service exceptional. My husband ordered a lemon drop that he really enjoyed from bartender on second floor(forgot her name). Overall, we’ll be back!

First time to Ardmore was so happy with the restaurant. Atmosphere, service and overall dining was beyond expectation!

Was not a memorable experience. The waiters clearly did not want to be there and you could tell that from the body language across the staff. Service was extremely slow despite there being only 3 tables seated. Food came out cold despite a 25 minute wait (only three tables seated still). Will not be going back there. Food tasted ok but would have been better had it been served when it was made.

The food was amazing but the service was slow. Our server brought us out a pitcher of sangria but no glasses. She took like 20 minutes to bring them over. All the glasses had lip stick on them like she took them out of the dirty dishes.

Overall, a very enjoyable experience; food was great. Service was initially very spotty - despite having a reservation, they were not prepared for us when we arrived and seemed perplexed about where to seat us. We waited about 15 minutes for a server to come by - after we complained to the manager, things were better.

They would not seat us or honor the Open Table reservation we booked. The restaurant was very empty and there were many available times on OpenTable. But the two hostesses claimed they were booked for the next 3 hrs and “should have shut off the app”. It seemed like they did not want to seat us due to our three children (who were quiet and respectful)! I kept checking the app for the next few hours and it continued to show numerous open reservation times. We will not be going back to Not Your Average Joes again!!!

Food was pretty good, the menu had a lot of choices that even my usual picker eaters wanted to try. Our server, Maya, was so sweet, friendly and attentive. We would come back again.

My gf Turkey club was very dry. I always order this sandwich and it is usually really good. The salmon bowl was kind of oily and greasy. The server was wonderful

Ahi Tuna Wonton appetizer was great. Jambalaya was bland and small portion for the cost. Service was slow. Beer taps not working so no draught beer available and no craft beer choices available in can/bottle.

Great place but as get busy the service slowed down. The Cuban sandwich was kind of on the dry side. Also one of our desserts order got cancelled. But overall nice experience

Was anxious to try onion soup which looked delicious posted for January special. It was nasty…sour… not cheesy sent it bad to kitchen. Waiter very nice & took it off our bill. Was also looking forward to cheese steak eggrolls that server said they were out of. Third selection special blue cheese burger was very tasty but they substituted arugula with a thickly sliced tomato… Last time there saw a mouse should have remembered & chosen different restaurant.
