Restaurants à Wachapreague

Service and food were great. Huge improvement from last few experiences dining there before the change.

We went for lunch, and it was quiet on a mid-weekday. Great options for artisan salads, including an Asian Chicken Salad. We decided to try some of the appetizers and had the Butterfly Shrimp Wraps which were fantastic! If you want to grab a quick bite before a movie, the Butterfly Shrimp Wraps are both filling and perfect for a meal that is not too filling. The Cilantro Shrimp entree was perfectly prepared and served on wild rice with string beans. It was just the right size for a healthy option with nothing fried or heavy on the dish. We want to try the Sevin Hills Steakburger because it is the same burger advertised at the Tides Inn and many other restaurants around town for at least $8 less than the resort and other higher end restaurants are charging for the same burger.

The medallions of beef and salmon entree are to die for! Had the pow pow shrimp to start plus the mussels. Both were fabulous. We will be back again soon!

We enjoyed several courses including the best Old Salts we have ever had. The oyster shucker is worth her weight in gold! We had 2 dozen oysters, the crab cake and the smoked trout dip. Would go back in a heartbeat!

The service was good and the food was very delicious. We enjoyed the music which helped from overhearing other diners. Did I say how great the food was? A very enjoyable anniversary dinner.
