Four of us ordered different dishes and all of us enjoyed them. The pistachio gelato was amazing. This was our first time back in years. Next time we won’t wait so long!

Whenever my wife and I have a special occasion or a taste for great food we more than likely make reservations at the Melt or Top Cut. Our Melt server at dinner last night was an absolute Rock-star (Danie) from the initial drinks, appetizers, main course through complimentary dessert served to my wife for her birthday. Several managers stopped by our table to inquire of our dining experience. It was easy to respond that we were all very pleased with EVERYTHING. I also observed this same professionalism by the server and managers to other tables in our vicinity...simply impressive. The preparation of our Salmone, Penne con Pollo, and Fettuccine Bolognese was impeccable so kudos to the chef(s)! It's no surprise I'd recommend the Melt a 1000 x over to anyone that appreciates fine dining and elite service!

Everything was amazing from the wine and antipasto to the entrees and tiramisu. If you haven't been here yet, make it a top priority on your list. Our server was very nice, informative and helpful. I'd go back again in a heartbeat. Just be ready for at least $100 person and if you want a bottle of wine, some are up to a few hundred.

Food was middling. When the Manhattan cocktail is overly sweet, you know the restaurant is catering to less than refined palates. The mushroom and brie soup was heavy and congealed quickly, although seasoned well. The catch of the day entree was a bit of a mess, with chewy, unevenly cooked fish, reedy artichokes, some bones and skin, and not a lot of flavor. The service was very professional and attentive. One quirk: the hostess demanded that I remove my hat. She said they have a "no-hat" policy. I can understand if men are wearing ball caps, but a woman's hat is part of her ensemble. Ignorant and silly policy that has no foundation in etiquette.

I took my 91-year old mother to The Melt for an early Mother's Day dinner. Jason provided outstanding service! He checked back with us at just the right frequency, was personable and professional, and made the dining a positive experience. My only suggestion to The Melt is to use less salt on the food, something I have experienced in the last several visits.

Amazing experience; made a reservation here with my boyfriend and really enjoyed it. The service was excellent; our waiter came by often to make sure we were doing well, as well as several other staff members. The food was really good.

My husband and I were very impressed with the service and our food selections at melt. I selected the scallops with orzo and one word to describe texture and flavor - outstanding!! The scallops were cooked to prefection! My husband ordered the veal chop parmigiana and he thought it was very good.

Hello Anonymous. Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. A cake cutting fee is charged when bringing your own food to a restaurant that provides what you are bringing. This is a standard practice at many restaurants. The alternative would be to not let anyone bring in their own cake for special occasions. We also respectfully ask that you do not call our staff names. These are teenage girls doing their best at a job that is not as easy as it may seem. We are always looking to improve wherever we can, and if you would like to message us back with details of your interaction with our hostess, that would be helpful to us. Thank you.

First of all when we first came in I was told to remove my hat that there’s a no hat policy , and I understand only to see 4 other people in there with hats on and not a word was said to them! Next we ordered 2 different pizzas both which were cold and burnt on the bottoms and dry on tops like they were heated up ! Didn’t say anything to waitress we don’t like to have food sent back when with other couples out to eat ! We barely ate half of one pizza would not recommend getting any of them . Paid over $30 just for pizzas and never ate them !

Always a pleasant experience at Melt. Our waitress was excellent, she checked in regularly and offered awesome suggestions with drinks. Very knowledgeable. Sadly, the ravioli item on the menu was not the best. Too much sauce, too little ravioli. Was not the most enjoyable, very acidic tomato sauce. But overall, the ambience and service was still worthwhile. Excellent cocktails!

Having patronized Melt many times in the past, my most recent visit was disappointing regarding my food selection. Atmosphere, service, beverages were all top notch. My dinner special was disappointing as it was very soupy looking, tasted fine, but substandard presentation. It was the first time that I couldn’t grade the establishment as at least solid 4 stars. I’ll be back, many times in the future.

This experience exceeded my expectations! The service was excellent. I hope to return soon to taste many more items on the menu. I didn’t get to visit the rooftop so I’m also looking forward to that!! Thank you for an experience I won’t soon forget!!

Food and bussing service was excellent. So thank you back of house and support staff! But our server I think needs to consider another occupation. Short, abrupt... seemed to have a chip on his shoulder from the time we got there. Ignored us when we tried to get attention, even from one end of table to the other. It was a special occasion for an 83rd birthday, so we wanted to just have at least the basics of polite and attentive service. Very disappointed. I will not consider Melt for a special event again. If I did return, and was seated with this same server, unfortunately I would have to either leave or request a different section in the restaurant. One of our party communicated the dissatisfaction with the manager and was oddly given a similar attitude as we received from the server. So I guess, that's just how it goes there. I mean it's only hospitality, but if you don't enjoy working with the public, it may not be where you're at your best.

First poor experience there. Rude server, mistakes with our order, replacement dish was clearly rushed and was worse that the mistake dish. Unfortunate after several good meals there.

I have frequented Melt often over the years. This last visit was supremely disappointing. I scheduled a reservation for my wife's birthday well in advance of the day. In the notes, I had indicated it was my wife's birthday and that she prefers booth seating if possible. Our reservation was for 6:30pm. We arrived on time. I give our name for the reservation and the hostess goes, "I see here we requested a booth", I say "Yes that is correct." She proceeds to say, "We only have a half booth half table available." We declined as often times you end up feeling like you are sitting on top of the adjoining table and my wife wanted something a bit more intimate and private for her birthday dinner. I figured that they didn't want to use a booth for 2 people that could fit 4 people. I could not think of any other reason why our request for a booth for a special celebration dinner would not be honored. Important to note the restaurant was not busy. What was extremely frustrating to me is once we were seated at the table, I could see that the section of "U" shaped booths in the center of the restaurant were all available except for 1 booth which was - you guessed it - occupied by only 2 people. Hmm, odd. Within 15-30 minutes, I proceed to see every single other U Shaped both in this section sat, again, each time only with 2 people being seated. This only increasingly frustrated me as I could not understand why our earlier reservation and our request for a booth was not met, yet people arriving later, that were also a group of only 2 people were sat at those booths. Infuriatingly, the back raised platform section also had available booths during our entire meal. I planned on mentioning this to a manager. I watched a female manager do table checks at the tables directly next to ours. No table check done for us from any manager during our meal. Also, there was never any acknowledgement of it being my wife's birthday from any staff member. Needless to say, I won't be returning

It was extremely insulting when the wait staff removed the salt a pepper shakers. What did they think we were going to steal them? The food was marginal and not worth the price

It is a part of our steps of service and our staff are trained to remove the salt and pepper shakers when guests are finished with their entree. There are a few different reasons as to why we train our staff to do this, the main one being to have a clean and clear table for your dessert course. My steak was terrible all fat, overcooked and totally tough. I can get a better steak at Texas Roadhouse for $21 not $46.
