As always the food was aces. (Pastina soup can't be beat!) But the noise level! I ended up reading my lunch partner's lips. And we can't really take our lunch at 2 PM, when it quiets down. Too bad something can't be done to cut down on the ambient noise level.

Great place to grab lunch, especially with the nicer weather and outside tables! We were celebrating a coworkers birthday and really enjoyed our lunch. Noise level inside was moderate - could definitely talk to each other - but I have been there when the noise level is pretty loud. Had the Ahi tuna salad special - very generous serving of the seared tuna and loved the lemon dressing!

We went there because it had a Passover menu We had a very pleasant experience The manager has been there from the onset And remembered us Everything was perfect from beginning to end It’s a true winner And we managed to squeeze i. Two happy hour glasses of wine Thanks

Very friendly staff. Table and place settings were DUSTY! Reported it to staff, they cleaned it immediately. I assumed the dust was from the window above us once opened for the day?? Our server Kimberly was soooo sweet! Our soups were less to be desired. No bueno.

Very good dinner last night. Bolognese ravioli were delicious, as was the Caesar salad we had to start. Waiter was very attentive. Always a great pre-theatre spot for us!

Had another great experience! Was with daughter and eight year old granddaughter. The wait staff was incredibly patient and kind… showing my granddaughter the size bowl her Mac and cheese would come in and giving her a “to go” cup and fresh straw for her strawberry shake. Our food was excellent; my daughter’s shrimp risotto was perfect, for example. Everything nicely presented and a great value. Definitely will be coming back often!

The food was good. The music was good. The service was good. Our drinks were not good. They had the servers making the drinks and it was pretty obvious they didn’t really know what they were doing.

The food is pretty dependable at Marathon. The crowd this Sunday was a bit extreme, in that tables were full beyond the times of reservations. So we did have a wait. All in all a fine place for a Sunday lunch.

We enjoyed our lunch before going to a show. Our server was awesome. She was attentive and kind. And all the other workers seemed to work well as a team. Overall happy with the food and wanted to give a big shout out to the overall service while we were there.

Had brunch at Marathon with a big group after a race. The staff, service and food were outstanding. Not always easy with a lot of people but they managed it flawlessly. Always a great time!

Have been coming here ( and its other locations) since the first one opened in Center City so many years ago! It never disappoints, and I really appreciate that you now accept reservations. The large number of menu selections is a real plus, and the quality of the food is high . The service is always thoughtful, caring and professional. The beet salad on the Specials Menu was outstanding - you should make it part of the regular menu! So wonderful that the restaurant has gotten even better over the years.

We love Marathon grill - good food, fun, etc. It is noteworthy that one of the servers suggested we pack up our leftovers to give to the homeless. They provided plastic utensils, napkins, containers (of course)…. We were thrilled & happy that the server suggested that!!!!

Marathon Grill never disappoints. It's my go to place meeting friends and family in Center City. Staff is friendly and attentive, food is fresh and ample portions. The vibe is energetic with a very diverse crowd of office workers, visitors snd shoppers..

I ordered one of the specials of the day which was a grilled ahi tuna salad with a lemon vinaigrette dressing, I specifically asked for the dressing on the side. It came drenched in dressing, and was a soggy mess and well, the fish smelled fishy. I pointed out the dressing not being on the side and was brought a side. Hmm. Maybe I should’ve sent it back. I picked out the tuna and called it a day. Not sure I will be back any time soon.

Thank you. It was my first time at Marathon Grill. I was impressed. I’ve been told about the food, but I had a chance to experience the turkey burger superb. My Server Key was outstanding wonderful, personality, great customer service, Which made everything so much better to enjoy thank you again, Key . We were visiting from out of town and came here on a snowy Friday night, so it was fairly empty. Thankfully, despite this, the food was fantastic, and the service was outstanding. The waitress was knowledgeable and helpful. The portions were large, and everything was delicious. Such a great place with great food and service. We all agree we’ll come back next time we’re in town.
