The Panino's Restaurant first debuted in 1974 in downtown Colorado Springs by Everetta Lou and Tony Frasca under Pizza Plus. The family-owned restaurant later changed its name to Panino's restaurant in 1991 after the overwhelming success of the Panino's sandwich. Since the relaunch, the Frasca family has been devoted to improving the panini sandwich, a culinary invention prepared with garden-fresh veggies, top-grade meats, and cheeses. Also, the restaurant offers classic Italian flavors, including signature pizza, house-made pasta specialties, and seasonal, inventive salads. Panino's Westside boasts a comprehensive selection of drinks to complement its dishes, including wines, beers, and cocktails.
