Le restaurant La Collina ravit ses convives depuis plus de 25 ans avec une cuisine, un service et une ambiance de classe mondiale. Le personnel a reçu une formation classique et sert avec le souci du détail une sélection des meilleures recettes d'antan, dans une atmosphère élégante et décontractée. L'établissement, situé tout juste à côté de la Schuylkill Expressway à Belmont Hills, offre une vue spectaculaire sur la colline. Le bar propose une atmosphère unique avec des spectacles et de la danse les fins de semaine. Ce petit bijou est reconnu comme l'un des restaurants les plus romantiques sur la Main Line. Le restaurant La Collina se spécialise dans les plats de fruits de mer et de veau frais. Sa spécialité, la sole franche, est un poisson délicat et savoureux qui est grillé et servi à votre table. En plus de la sole, les plats du jour de poisson frais comprennent le bar européen, le saumon norvégien, le pompano, la dorade royale, les crabes à carapace molle, les langoustines et autres délices de la mer, selon leur disponibilité. Edit: This review was initially deleted due to them deleting my reservation after I left it. Our food was under seasoned and under flavored, surprisingly bland. Very disappointing. Bar made good drinks. View is also good. Honestly don’t understand the good review’s. Can’t recommend this at even half the price.

Great old school italian restaurant. Surprisingly, easy to get to, two minutes off I76. Vallet parking was the first thing that impressed us. Once hearing the specials, we immediately ordered. Three of them. The tomato lobster bisque was grand. The grilled lamb chops were also great. Pricing in line with today's craziness. We will be back again soon.

The staff and service were great but honestly the food was just ok. The bread was dry and somewhat stale, the pasta was cooked well but the taste was bland. Overall we were disappointed in the food.

This fine establishment provides a wonderful experience. This restaurant has it all. My husband loved his Tbone dinner. I loved the seafood fettuccine. Five star service. Very romantic. There are many decorative windows in the bar area with colorful flower boxes. Terrific view of the Schuylkill river. The valet was so nice. He was genuinely interested in how we enjoyed our first experience at this fabulous restaurant.

We wanted to try La Collina bc we love Otto de Pulpo and we heard it was under their ownership. Unfortunately we did not have a great meal. They seated us in the back of the bar area next to a huge table with little babies at 8 pm on a Friday night rather than the main dining room. Not a big deal, it happens. Our server was overwhelmed with way too many tables, we couldn’t even order food for the first hour, drink pours were just fair and we definitely needed those. Food was so slow, we were there for 3 hours, we couldn’t even get a check. Food was good, not great.

Great place, from valet to the quick check in, to the service, and of course the food. Party of 7 all enjoyed their meals. The only slight negative was the piano and singer were a bit loud but very good. Definitely will go back!

Very nice evening. Good was delicious - guests had lobster ravioli, rigatoni in vodka sauce and Dover sole. I had veal Parma. All sauces are made to order - how about that! Veal was just the right portion and very tasty. My wife loved the Dover sole - which the server filleted at the table and with perfection. Lobster in the ravioli was tender and raviolis were perfectly cooked. Desserts were also very good. Recommend the limoncello swirl! Great place for a special night.

The prices are way too high. The branzino served with spinach was ordinary and did not merit a $52 price tag. The baked oyster appetizer was delicious, but $21 for three oysters is overpriced. The linguine fra diavalo with jumbo shrimp was delicious but contained only three shrimp. I felt it was a poor value.

We had to wait 15 minutes standing because they wouldn’t ask the diners at our table to leave who had been there well over two hours. Then they only had single malt scotches, nothing blended. We’ve been going here for 30 years and never had a bad experience like this ever before.

We went a bit early to have drinks at the bar before our reservation - it took close to 25 minutes just to be acknowledged by the bartender, and another few to get a drink. When I took out my credit card to signal we were ready to pay our tab, the bartender printed our receipt and threw it towards me irritably. Staff seemed very overwhelmed and were out of several items we ordered. Food was decent but seemed overpriced for what it was + quality of the service. Not sure we will return.

New ownership and it’s not the same as before. Server was nice but my food was not good. I had to send it back which I hardly ever do . The pasta was good but not the chicken . Both of us thought it had a weird taste . The restaurant took half the entree off the bill . I guess because I ate the pasta part .

El servicio muy malo. La persona que nos atendió era poco amigable. La música muy alta. Y mi comida tenía exceso de sal. También el mesero nunca estaba atento a lo que se necesitaba en la mesa. Por ejemplo mi vaso con agua estuvo vacío durante todo el tiempo que lo dejé a mi lado a vista para poner más y el colocó agua hasta cuando pedimos la cuenta. La verdad me pareció muy caro el precio para lo que recibí

As soon as we walked in we were greeted by our favorite server Errol. As soon as I saw him, I knew our dinner guests were gonna be extremely impressed with the service. It was the very first time that our two dinner guests had been to this wonderful restaurant, and they were impressed all the way around. They commented on how beautiful the restaurant looked inside, that the service was top-notch and their meals were just absolutely outstanding. The Shrimp cocktail and Caprese salads were absolutely delicious. The Pollo Petroniana and the Pollo Parmigiana were so outstanding that our dinner guest had planned on taking half of it home, but just could not stop eating it and ended up finishing up the entire entrées. The Chocolate salted caramel soufflé and the Dream Bomba were the perfect ending to another memorable dinner at La Collina !!! Thank you once again for everything.

Some of the best Italian dishes that my wife and I have ever had. Earl was our server and was excellent. I had ordered flowers and had them sent to the restaurant earlier in the day. When my wife and I were seated the flowers were beautifully displayed on out table. I would highly recommend.

Everyone at the restaurant was lovely and the service was great. The food was very good. What surprised us is that the restaurant ran out of Diet Coke and Sprite. Since I don’t drink alcohol, the Diet Coke is my go-to when out. A special shout-out to the parking lot attendants! They were masters of handling a crazy-busy dinner crowd!

La Collina was amazing. The food was delicious. I felt like I was dining at a fine restaurant in New York. It felt like old world dining with servers in white jackets. Many of the servers had worked there for many years. The live music was nice and not overpowering. You could talk as you were enjoying the music and ambiance. Definitely worth a visit for a special date night.

Always a delicious meal at La Collina. We tried different dishes than our regular orders and we were so happy we did. Also tried the meat and cheese platter for an appetizer. Excellent. Service was perfect as usual. Thanks for another great night.

Our dinner was excellent. Each of our choices was fresh, was beautifully presented, and was presented in a timely but unrushed manner. Our group of four chose items that were on the standard menu as well as some of the specials. In particular, we'd recommend the risotto, the cheesecake options, and the veal, which was particularly tender.

Our dinner at La Collina began with us first meeting the valet attendant, who we have seen many times before. He gave us such a nice Happy New Year’s greeting that it set the tone for the entire evening. Our friends that we were entertaining had never been to this restaurant before, so they just could not get over the awesome view from the restaurant and how beautiful it looked. Our favorite server Errol came over to greet us and wish us a happy New Year. We were disappointed to hear that he was working a different section of the restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised when we learned that our server was going to be Antonio for the evening because he was very attentive and accommodated every single one of our requests throughout our dinner. The shrimp cocktail, and fried calamari appetizers were delicious. The veal piccata and the pasta special we presented so beautifully and tasted delicious as well. But when we recommended the bomb for the desert to our friends, they were totally blown away. It was a perfect dessert for a perfect meal. Thanks to the folks that also came to deliver our meals to the table & clear the table because they were all extremely friendly and personable as well. Our goal was to treat our friends to a phenomenal meal in an awesome setting with A+ service and thanks to all of you, “Mission Accomplished” !!!

Wonderful date night. Valet and server were both excellent. My espresso martini was made perfectly. We loved everything we ordered from appetizers to the desserts. The ambiance was quiet and romantic and truly a special evening.

Would definitely go back but the bartender was less than friendly and only came over after we asked a couple of times but then never gave us our drinks. Our table reservations were for 815 but weren’t seated till 9. Food was excellent but feel it was overpriced. As for the waitress she was amazing and attentive.
