Le restaurant La Collina ravit ses convives depuis plus de 25 ans avec une cuisine, un service et une ambiance de classe mondiale. Le personnel a reçu une formation classique et sert avec le souci du détail une sélection des meilleures recettes d'antan, dans une atmosphère élégante et décontractée. L'établissement, situé tout juste à côté de la Schuylkill Expressway à Belmont Hills, offre une vue spectaculaire sur la colline. Le bar propose une atmosphère unique avec des spectacles et de la danse les fins de semaine. Ce petit bijou est reconnu comme l'un des restaurants les plus romantiques sur la Main Line. Le restaurant La Collina se spécialise dans les plats de fruits de mer et de veau frais. Sa spécialité, la sole franche, est un poisson délicat et savoureux qui est grillé et servi à votre table. En plus de la sole, les plats du jour de poisson frais comprennent le bar européen, le saumon norvégien, le pompano, la dorade royale, les crabes à carapace molle, les langoustines et autres délices de la mer, selon leur disponibilité. The service was excellent though the bus boy got a little ahead of himself taking our plates. We had two appetizers - the salad special was a little heavy on the dressing but delicious and the calamari was excellent. The dipping sauce was a little bland, maybe just a touch of salt or a little spice. Then we shared the pasta special, sacchattoni. The gravy was to die for. We then shared the salmon special…. Positano style with tomatoes and capers. We will be back.

The waiter was kinda rude and didn’t tell us the specials- we felt rushed and kind of uncomfortable When my husband went to the bathroom that’s when the waiter wanted me to order ( we over heard him telling another table about the specials) Foods great - just think they need better staff

Overall, a nice evening. Gnocchi with Gorgonzola was excellent. Filet of sole needed more butter sauce and seasoning. Nice cocktails.

My husband had veal Collina. It was fabulous-blush sauce, crabmeat, asparagus. I had chicken parmigiana. It was not great. I love this restaurant. I normally order fish. It was too expensive!

Great ambiance. We had a table for nine and it was perfect. Our waiter was excellent, so courteous. Gave us time to celebrate a birthday. All the staff was very nice and efficient. Great food, we all enjoyed everything we ordered. Love being up on the hill with a great view.
