La Cena Ristorante has been in the heart of Bensalem, PA for 25 years and we are still going strong! We offer delicious and authentic Italian food that is made with only the freshest ingredients. We offer a full bar that comes complete with live entertainment and, we also offer delicious daily specials in addition to our traditional menu. Music was way too loud. We will never eat there again while live music is playing. It was so loud we couldn’t communicate with each other.

Others then running out of a few things, a couple of bottles of wine that were on the menu, it was a pleasant experience. Staff were helpful. Food was delicious. Music was a nice added experience. Old school ambiance was appreciated. Pricing was reasonable.

We saw the restaurant had four stars on Yelp and TripAdvisor. We were excited to try it, ordered calamari for the appetizer. It was cold and rubbery we couldn’t even finish it. Pasta dishes were mediocre at best. I don’t think the scallops in my pasta dish were cooked fully and the sauce was bland. On top of that beware they charge a 3% or 4% charge when you use a credit card, which we didn’t know until we received the bill. When I pointed this out to the waitress, she said oh, there’s a sign at the front door. Which upon leaving was the smallest signage I had ever ever seen. The live music was nice but definitely way too loud. I felt like I was at a wedding and had to raise my voice to speak to my husband. Will not go back.

Tuesday night was the best night. The four of us were seated in a corner table and we were able to a have quiet conversation. Food was delicious. We will be back.

Enjoyed a meal before seeing a concert at Parx. The staff/service was great. We enjoyed mussels, salads, and pasta bolognese / sea bass entrees. Restaurant had live music (Sat night). We enjoyed ourselves, & would go back again.

the entertainment was way too loud we could not have a conversation at our table. We will not be returning on a weekend night. Our server and the food was fantastic but we were really turned off by how loud the music was.
