When we arrived for our reservation there wasn’t anyone at the hostess area and there were people ahead of us who stated they were waiting for a table for six. More people arrived after us and stood behind us to wait. After a hostess arrived to the desk and identified the 6-top guests, I approached the desk with the intent to give her my name and reservation time. However the hostess disregarded me and started to ask the people behind me how many were in their group. I stated to her that we were next and gave her my name. She then responded in a very condescending and snarky manner, saying “… don’t worry everyone’s going to get seated”. I’ve never been treated in such a dismissive manner at a restaurant. She should have apologized for her error overlooking us - not lashed out at the restaurant’s patrons in a disrespectful tone. It was Mother’s Day so I didn’t make an issue out of it, but I certainly thought about going elsewhere to celebrate.

My wife and I enjoyed Mother's Day dinner, and both of our meals were excellent! My wife loved her Ahi Tuna and my bone-in pork chop was possibly the best I ever had (my wife raved over how tender my chop was!). Our waitress, Nicki (sp?), provided excellent service and was very personable and accommodating.

Service was above average (or average, considering the high prices). Same for the food. Very good, but also quite expensive. The atmosphere was subpar due to the live music in the bar. Don’t get me wrong. The artist (singer/guitarist doing covers) was very talented and entertaining. But the noise level was beyond loud. This is a rest not a concert venue. Turn the volume down two notches and would have been really nice. And no, we weren’t the only guests unhappy with the noise.

Food was excellent as usual- Menu hasn’t changed in a long time Server was ok - bread not served right away- we had to ask a few times We sat near the musician- way too loud! I could barely hear my family speak! Music should be background imo - not in your face Definitely going back- just never on Sat night

Food was great. Service was a bit disorganized and we weren't really sure what was going on when we got there and waiting for a table etc. Once we finally got seated and then finally got menus everything was great. Just took a while to get to that point.

Great restaurant! Beet and Goat Cheese salad was wonderful, we all had the Grouper and one had Chicken Parm. Both entrees were very good and ample. Music was very nice touch, great vibe and nice servers.

The Jarrettown Restaurant is truly a neighborhood gem! We enjoyed a fun Happy Hour and a fabulous dinner. Our meals were delicious and the service exceptional. A great location with plentiful parking. Reservations are highly recommended!

As always, the food is excellent. We ordered crab cakes on a bed of risotto w/ asparagus and the tuna served rare with wasabi on a bed of teriyaki rice. Our server was professional and pleasant. We have never had a bad meal 🍽️ or waitress thus far. Food is always fresh and well prepared. We’ll be back !

Delicious French martini, good coconut shrimp appetizer and Very Good Grouper dish. Only thing, was due to the pouring rain outside, I happened to be against the stone wall on "porch" area and was getting wet. I first thought the waitress filling the waters dripped on me by mistake, but then kept feeling this fine mist/drip feeling only to find out I was getting rained on! So if raining don't sit along that wall. The people who sat next to us along there, noticed right away and moved. You think that they would have at least given us a free dessert for putting up with that?! the back of my chair and the floor was all wet!

We had reservations for Saturday. It was overly crowded. They did have musical entertainment in the bar in the corner adjacent to the porch. We were sat in the porch area, right past the entrance and the music was so loud we had trouble carrying on a conversation. We may be back but I won’t accept a table there. The food was very good and the service was adequate. The server was very fast moving and probably had more tables than she could handle due to the crowd.

Took us back 20 minutes late for our reservation. Drinks and food were palatable but forgettable. Waitress was nice but not attentive and mixed up her tables. Not worth another visit

Our meals were all excellent. The quality and portions and presentation - wonderful! Our 8 year old grandson devoured most of his rack of lamb and took the rest home! The restaurant was very busy!

Food was good, table location absolutely terrible. Although we requested a table on the porch we got stuck in the dining room near a through area were there was a constant stream of customer and server passing extremely close to the table.

Our experience was fantastic! It was on Valentine’s Day, which was a very busy day, but our food was delicious and hot and the help was smiling and happy and very efficient. Atmosphere was great definitely will go there again!

We enjoy going to Jarrettown Hotel Restaurant. The specials are always good. The service is quick. We actually had to slow them down. Great gnocchi for dessert. The happy hour crowd was noisy.

The food was good. I had a risotto with scallops and shrimp, and liked it a lot. We shared an appetizer- fried calamari. It came with sliced fried jalapeño peppers- didn’t expect that; and was completely unprepared. On a Friday night, the place was absolutely packed. It felt like we were sitting on top of each other; tables and chairs were too close for our comfort. Very little or no ambiance at all.

We had another great night at The Jarrettown. The staff is always polite and efficient. The food was terrific as always. It's a little loud in there on a Saturday night but nothing that would keep us from coming. The Jarrettown is our go-to restaurant whenever we have out of town guests. When they come back in town, they ask to go back.

Not a place to go if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing atmosphere. The room we were in was so noisy we had to shout at the server to be heard. Interesting menu, but a little pricey.
