Hadn’t been here in years… but really glad we returned. Everything was great— ambiance, server, food and drinks. A real gem in the Lehigh Valley.

Fantastic birthday dinner at the Glasbern Country Inn. Delicious drink options and specials were dynamite. Wait staff was super friendly, informative, and on top of everything. I would highly recommend!

Charming dining room and grounds. Excellent food and service. A little bit pricey but worth it if you want a quiet and relaxing, or date night dinner. Not an extensive menu but everything on the menu is excellent. Nice sized portions also.

This was a very special dinner for me, because I was celebrating a big birthday with some very good friends from out of state, and I have to say it was everything I hoped for and more!! Not only was our server Alexandria, the perfect assistance for our evening in every way, from her knowledge to her table side manner to her ability to handle our special dietary needs (celiac disease, shellfish allergies and a vegetarian) The experience left nothing to be desired. The chef prepared flavorful colorful starters, entrees & desserts…my husband said the french onion soup was just right, including the gruyère cheese, they had gluten-free warm rolls and a gluten free decadent dessert!! The wine menu had numerous options, and we enjoyed a bottle of crisp white Gruner Veltliner very nice with our meals. The table location was perfect to enjoy the view of budding spring. They did not rush us. It was fantastic, a 12 out of 10!!! I highly recommend it.

The food was delicious. They made a nice accommodation for the vegan guest. The waiter was pleasant and interesting, but could use some more training. We were still eating the first course when the second course arrived. The timing was off. I was enjoying my salad and had to give it up when my entree arrived. So, that was annoying. Then, one guest was lingering over his drink and the waiter removed it from the table thinking he was done. It wasn’t empty and I’m sure the guest would have enjoyed a few more sips while we were wrapping the evening up. But, the renovation is nice and the food was good.

Chilean sea bass was amazing! Loved the warm bread with the delicious oil for dipping. I would also highly recommend the pear martini.

Food was fine, but it all came out too quickly. We got our wine before our cocktails, our entrees came while we were still eating our salads. Updated to 2 stars to reflect their continued lack of attention to detail. They replied to my review calling me the wrong name…

I’ve had a better dining experience at an Applebee’s… We have come to Glasbern for years now, and have always enjoyed a high level of dining and service. After the property was recently acquired by new ownership (Jaindl Companies) I fear that much lower standards have moved in. We waited 45 minutes for our first order of drinks to arrive, only to be served waters down cups of vermouth. A glass of bourbon neat somehow took the bartender nearly an hour to work out. Our appetizers arrived about 45 minutes after that, and were extremely subpar - similar to the quality I’d expect from an Applebee’s. It seemed to have been our server’s first time at a restaurant in their life. No plates were cleared throughout the entire night, no silverware was switched out. It took almost an hour to get a new napkin when we asked. While the quality of the food wasn’t on their hands, the piles of dirty dishes that littered our table definitely were. Only after being sat for over 2 hours, did our entrees finally arrive. Overcooked meat disguised in sauce that tasted like it came from a bottle, and entirely different sides than each dish was listed with - they just gave each plate the same simple greens and diced potatoes rather than the individual sides meant to complement each order. The manager finally came over after nearly 3 hours due to our obvious frustration and offered free dessert. We didn’t pack sleeping bags to wait another hour, so we declined. It still took another 30 minutes to get the check when we decided we picked at our disappointing food for long enough. The very worst dining experience I’ve had in years, and I hope that management can return this disaster back into the respectable fine restaurant it once was.

Our drinks and food were very good. Our waitress was friendly, but not very fast. Normally our order comes out quickly, but it took longer than usual especially compared to other guests. She could have been new or was busy in general. Other than that we have no complaints.

Everything about this place was wonderful. Our appetizers and entrees were delicious- so tasty and perfectly balanced flavors. I started with a cosmo that was dangerously good and switched to a delicious Pinot Grigio for dinner. Our server Nate was fantastic and very charming. Our glasses were never empty and our appetizers and entrees were timed perfectly- everything delivered as soon as it was made. Thank you Nate for taking such good care of us! We will definitely be back!

The atmosphere is quaint and romantic. The food was delicious! Our server Emily was very attentive and funny. The only downside was how long it took for our food to be brought out. It was over an hour from ordering to when our food arrived.

My wife and I wanted to get away for our 31st wedding anniversary and this place was spectacular. We actually spent the night at this Inn. Our hostess and waitress were very friendly. They both made us feel very welcome. We were not rushed and able to take our time ordering. The drinks, salads, and main course were fabulous. Everything was seasoned and cooked perfectly. We will definitely return.

Husband and I celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary at the Glasbern inn and dined in the restaurant while visiting. Food was delicious, service was good, they were out of a few things on the menu though that we wanted to order. Overall good experience and would definitely return!!

Exceptional service, meal was better thank expected due some of the Yelp reviews. Nice selection of specials which I chose both the appetizer (flatbread) and scallops. Unfortunately, there was no room for dessert

Great spot for a quiet and romantic dinner. The entire property is beautiful and the food and service were great.

Food and Service were both excellent. The Valentines Day menu was perfect and offered some great choices for each course. Can't wait to come back

The Valentine’s day special was excellent. The food was very good and it was a very romantic place for dinner.

Menu was small, food was excellent. Ambiance and service were also excellent. 20% gratuity was included in bill.

Although menu choices are somewhat limited, our appetizers and entrees were top- notch, and dessert was delicious. The ambience at Glasbern is always great, and our server was excellent and attentive.

Overall, my husband and I enjoyed our dinner out. I had a super signature lemon cocktail and my husband a bourbon. He had the casear salad and I had the crab cake appetizer, both were excellent. We each had ordered the filet mignon which was cooked to perfection. The steak and accompanying mushrooms and green beans were covered with a wine reduction. The problem was the amount of salt. Not sure if it was added directly to the steak or in the reduction, but it far exceded what was acceptable to either of us. Nevertheless, we did enjoy ourselves and will consider a return visit in the future. Our waitress was outstanding!
