Bobbe Speisesalon is a restaurant and bar in Berlin right by Prager Platz, serving kosher certified Israeli-Mediterranean food with a bit of German and other European influences. The restaurant stands in the western part of Berlin where the two quarters Wilmersdorf and Schöneberg meet. The restaurant space dates back to 1903 and the bar cabinet is said to have stood at this spot since the first restaurant back at the time. Newly founded in 2018 under the name of "Bobbe" (grandmother in Yiddish) the restaurant aims to convey the welcoming spirit of a family salon while capturing the timeless nature of dining, the here and now of every generation sharing quality time at the table.'

Anders als das klassische Konzept, das mit Gemütlichkeit wirbt, war uns hier wichtig das Architektonische der Räumlichkeiten zu betonen, die Quintessenz des Fisches und die Leichtigkeit des Seins. Die Neonbeleuchtung ist eine Installation in Anlehnung an Mondrian, welches das Deckenraster aus Beton aufbricht.Die Fischvitrine im Zentrum des Restaurants setzt sich mit seiner täglich frischen Auslage an Austern, Meeresfrüchten und Fischen perfekt in Szene.
