    Service was excellent, food was underwhelming. Short rib enchiladas were fine, if a bit bland. Mahi-mahi fish tacos seemed like little more than fish sticks wrapped in tortillas. Servers and hostess were on point. Drinks were delicious! Guac was good enough. Would stop by for a small bite after work, but wouldn’t go out of my way to dine here again.

    This was a Mother’s Day brunch visit. Our reservations were honored and we were promptly seated. We had time to browse the menus before we were greeted. We ordered chips/salsa/guac and drinks and received promptly. Our server was great. I ordered the short rib enchiladas and the other two guests ordered burritos. For the price of the platters the lack of food is my biggest gripe. My enchiladas were very good but two small ones with no rice. The burritos filled, but the plate presentation was lacking.

    Loved this place once upon a time. Four of us for dinner. Other than the guacamole no of us enjoyed our meal. Not the same as good as it used to be that is for sure.

    The food tasted good, but was exceedingly overpriced with very small portions. It was also very loud and hardly authentic. Waitress was wonderful, but that was about all.

    Food and drinks are always great. Especially love the margaritas!! I had a spicy margarita with Caesar salad, guacamole and chips, chicken tacos and tres leches came. Can’t go wrong!

    Delicious margaritas & tasty food! Our party of 3 enjoyed appetizers of guacamole & chips and coconut tuna ceviche . For entrees huevos rancheros & combo of chicken & steak tacos were enjoyed. Serving size was plenty as tacos and accompaniments were packed in take home containers. The ambiance is fun & I would recommend El Vez!

    The seating was horrible I asked for a Booth of course they sat us at a little table were the traffic was really busy! We couldn’t enjoy out food because of this! We left within 35 minutes after getting seated! There was more I than margarita as well! I use to love it here! Not anymore

    Came to celebrate my friend’s birthday and my cousin’s wedding anniversary. Casey our server was absolutely amazing! Matched with the delicious drinks and and food definitely coming back. Try the pink Cadillac! Don’t forget the street corn and plantains!!? Coming back soon

    Started at the bar for some drinks and nachos. They were good. Had a 9:45 reservation for 4 because we were meeting someone that couldn’t make it earlier. Food and service were good although they were clearly interested in closing the kitchen and moving us along. I would go back with an earlier reservation.

    We always enjoy our time at El Vez. We were a little disappointed that the photo booth was down. Gives another reason to come back.

    Great spot to celebrate my son's 21st b-day (it was his pick but we all enjoyed it). I called to ask for a booth and they accommodated my request. They even brought him bday churros.

    Energetic vibe, noisy; food just ok; restaurant seemed tired. Waitress friendly and service good. Not a fan of bathrooms down a staircase. Not what I remembered from several years ago. Would not go back.
