The food was just OK - nothing special. Our server was excellent. But it was SOOOO noisy. Plus the piano player added to the noise level. Overall it felt like a throwback to the 70's.

This was my 3rd visit to Charlotte's in a month, and it's become my new favorite restaurant. I was there this time on Saturday May 4, 2024 with my Mom who had had also been here once before. Our server was Nora who was my server the first time I came, and my mom's server the first time she came. Nora is the BEST EVER We started with appetizers of my mom had the calamari, and I had the shrimp Lejon. For our entree my mom had the fried shrimp with asparagus, and mashed potatoes. I had what I have gotten each time I've been here which is the Charlotte crabcakes with mashed potatoes, and rice pilaf. Everything was cooked to perfection, and my mom got the key lime pie to go.

This was my 2nd time here in less than a month, and everything was fantastic. I came with a friend who had never been there before and enjoyed everything like I did. We both ordered the Charlotte crabcakes for our entree with mashed potatoes, and rice pilaf for me, and a salad and mashed potatoes with the other entree. Both entrees were cooked to perfections, and nice portion sizes

Food & service were excellent. However, I made the reservation on open table & even confirmed it by phone, when 2 of my friends arrived they said they didn't have a reservation & one of the ladies stood and waited while the hostess was on the phone making reservations.

Oh my - words fail me I think the piano and the player that first greets you when entering should set your expectations appropriately low. The piano was ready for the wood pile 20 years ago and the player / well I’ll be nice - but he hasn’t seen a metronome since before I was born in 1963. Our waiter called our food vittles - yep, vittles. He threw cups, food on our table like a circus clown and his behavior the entire meal was no less bizarre The wait-person serving the table next to us called the 70 plus year old customer gurrrllll! And our waiter described the preparation of the fish as “throw it in the oven!” The dining room reminded me of what I expect to find at the retirement home / both the customers and staff - old and slow. The food portions were huge - each plate could have fed 3 people - but the food was barely edible. As our waiter was packing our to go boxes - he called my baked potato a taaaterrrr This just isn’t a fine dining restaurant.

Waited a while for our entrees. Overheard another waiter mention they were putting out a large party, so the regular dining room was left waiting I guess. Our baked potatoes were cold when served- had to be microwaved. Otherwise the food was good. Piano player was a nice touch.

Came here with some friends on a recommendation from my mom, and it was all of our first time visiting, but it definitely won't be my last. For some appies we had 3 orders of the cheesesteak egg rolls, the Jumbo Lump crab, & the shrimp Lejon. Our entrees consisted of 3 orders of the Charlotte Famous crab cake with mashed potatoes, and roasted brussel sprouts . An order of the baked Maryland crabcakes again with the mashed potatoes, and roasted brussel sprouts. Someone got the Prime rib eye steak, and someone got the broiled jumbo sea scallops w/crab imperial. Everything was cooked to perfection, and our server was Nora was the absolute BEST! I'm definitely looking forward to coming back again

The service was lovely at this kind of odd establishment. We all entered separately and when we reconvened at our table, all felt like we were entering a funeral parlor. The food was good over all but the vibe was definitely off in this place.

Enjoy Jody as our server. He is efficient, courteous and has a great sense of humor. We like all the servers but Jody is our favorite. Fun restaurant with good food and good value

The food and service was excellent! Our server, Jody, was terrific. They have a piano player playing in the bar area and his music quietly drifted over to the main dining room and it iwas lovely. The next time we go, we’ll ask for a booth (rather than a table) because the noise level will be quieter. We will not hesitate to go back ! I had filleted branzino which was so-so delicious. My husband had lamb chops median rare which he loved! We will return!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My wife and I went there for Valentine's Day dinner. We loved all the Valentine's Day decor, the piano player who played tunes fitting this special day, the overall ambiance of the restaurant and of course the excellent food. My wife getting a long stem red rose when we were leaving, was the 'icing on the cake" of a wonderful evening at Charlotte's!

Valentines day is special here with a limited menu. Salads awesome and waitress fantastic. Crab cakes top notch but my wife’s lobster tail was below par at best. Prices are high so she was disappointed. We are regular customers.

My girlfriend and I are here every Friday night. We have not found any other restaurant in Delaware County that offers the quality, week after week, size of portions, and value that Charlotte’s offers. The owner and staff are second to none. Do I recommend this restaurant? You bet I do !

We had the pleasure of Nora as our server, last night. She was outstanding! Our food was fantastic, and the prices are unbeatable. I highly recommend Charlotte's!!

I have been to this restaurant several times, and it offers a good value for your money. Food choices are abundant and normally quite tasty. You are able to make reservations on-line; thus, seating is fairly quick upon arrival. Often, it is busy, but the staff are attentive. On my recent visit, my friend and I had the pleasure of having Melody as our waitress. Her service was excellent, and she was knowledgeable about all the food choices; her desire to provide a great customer experience made the time there a memorable and beautiful way to end the year.

I have been to Charlotte’s many times in the past. This was easily our worst experience. We had a 445 reservation and arrived right on time. We did not receive our dinner until 6 pm. Our waiter didn’t write down our order and multiple things came out wrong or not at all. I ordered a drink which took nearly 30 minutes. The chicken parm which used to be great was not at all tasty or crispy as it had always been. A member of our party ordered a filet medium rare. When the food finally arrived around 6 pm the filet was cooked medium if not medium well. The waiter was angry we asked to send it back. He came back 5 minutes later with the same steak, now obviously cold and stated the manager put a meat thermometer inside and the center was medium rare and “only the outside of the steak was medium”. He was told that if he wanted a new steak cooked the way he requested that he would be charged for an additional steak. What an absolute disgrace and complete lack of customer service. The manager didn’t even bother to come out himself. They admitted that only the center of the steak was cooked to his liking and to basically just shut up and eat it. I’ve been to this restaurant at least 20+ times. I’ve held large family parties there on a handful of occasions. We will not be back. I no longer recommend this restaurant to anyone. Something has changed for the worse and I can’t see it going back to the place we used to know.

Our first time dining here. Menu was large. We ordered baked clams. Waitress said it would take 25 min. so we knew ahead of time. They were dry and overcooked. My pasta tasted like it sat in water most of the evening and they poured sauce over it. Husbands dinner was good - liver and onions. A little greasy but he said it was good. Service was very slow- we were there for over 2 hours! Couldn't find the waitress to pay bill and then noticed at 3.5% service fee for using credit card. I don't think we will be back.

Service is great. Food was awful. $40 crab cakes were rubbery and flavorless. Clam chowder was pasty and flavorless, mostly a thick paste without much more. Chicken Parm was ok. The best thing we ate was the bread. Will not be going back.

We have been to Charlotte's a handfull of times now and the food is always consistently very good. This time we were in the back hallway area between dining rooms. The server appeared to be waiting on other sections of the building and seemed to have trouble getting to us. Drinks took a long time to come and the food came out at first very slowly and then all at once with forgotten items - butter for the clams, and then bread came out with dinner.

Food and service were very good, with the exception of the crab legs being dried out. Server Norma tried to fix it with another serving but there were just as dry! They did try and make it up with complementary desert which was so nice and very good!

Great food. Many choices we will have to revisit to try some other options. Good service and well worth the price.
