    5 stars! Best steak we have ever eaten! I recommend their Delmonico (ribeye). Jared was our server and he was incredible. He gave us a brief history of the restaurant and was well versed in all food and wine recommendations.

    The best meal always. The steaks were cooked to perfection and the best we ever had. Our server Ricky was more than awesome. We will definitely be back soon.

    The food and ambiance were amazing. Great taste and cooked perfectly. Service was a tiny bit slow but other than that it was really really good

    This is our go to steak house in the city filled with other options. We arrived at 4:57 for a 5P reservation. Told they won’t seat until 5 and we can go for the bar for a drink (for 3 minutes). We moved over to the bar and ordered cocktails at 5P sharp they came to seat us. Drinks were being prepared so it was a rush to wrap up and pay bill. We then carefully returned to hostess station with our generously filled cocktails in hand only to be told to wait to be seated. This was some tomfoolery but the service beyond this was top of the line. Please do better with this part of the experience.

    Server was good. Delmonico had silver skin through out, steak was cool Hash brown casserole was great. Not what we expected

    Always love coming here. Brian is the most incredible waiter ever. Was terribly disappointed by the (new) chefs decision to ruin the chocolate cake with some sort of wretched berry sauce. Why would they mess with a classic dessert. Terribly disappointing.

    The wagyu ribeye was amazing along with everything else. Not the most comfortable chairs, but that would not deter me from returning.

    Butcher and Singer is our go to steak house. Always excellent food and top notch service.! It was my husband’s and my anniversary. I made note of it in my reservation, really not expecting anything except “Happy Anniversary “. At the end of our meal our waiter brought out a beautiful desert with Happy Anniversary written in chocolate! This restaurant never disappoints!!

    I think Butcher & Singer is one of the best steaks in Philadelphia. The union soup is very nice(better than Parc and other French restaurants). The steak and lamb are delicious. And finally the dessert, the big ball - Alaska is amazing, with ice cream and cake inside.

    We've been going to Butcher & Singer since 2019. Every visit has brightened our days, and we love every dish, from biscuits to desserts. They have high-quality steak & chops you will not regret having for your fancy dinner night. +) I was having my birthday dinner during my last visit and was greeted with surprise birthday wishes and candles. It really made my day.

    One of the best steak houses I’ve been to. the Delmonico was perfect. butcher salad great. Chris, our waiter picked a perfect cab. Be prepared though. It’s expensive

    Our server was a gem. She was extremely knowledgeable on the food and wine. She described everything perfectly and gave great recommendations. We loved her table presence, she truly made our experience. Support staff killed it as well. Food and wine was excellent. Ambiance was nice. We can’t wait to come back.

    This is not a cheap restaurant, but if you are looking for a special occasion place, this is a winner. Stunning room, beautiful service and excellent steaks.

    Exceptional meal in a beautiful setting! Flaky biscuits with honey butter were delicious and loved the crispy potatoes, creamed spinach and Mac n cheese as sides with our amazing steaks!! Horseradish cream sauce was wonderful along with the turtle cheesecake! Best of all, the service was incredible!! Our waiter was so knowledgeable, professional and friendly! A must!!!

    Exceptional meal! Went for a birthday dinner with my girlfriend and the service was outstanding. Felt like I walked into the castle from beauty and the beast almost! The meal, service, ambience and setting was a total 10/10! Had the oysters, Caesar salad and New York strip with the Oscar complement (crab meat) and the best peanut butter and chocolate tart of my life! Totally a 10/10 and worth every cent.

    Incredible experience start to finish. Ambiance amazing, drinks delicious, food incredible and service incredibly professional and on point. The service was quite possibly the most impressive aspect of the evening. Butcher has an amazing team. I will be back soon!
