Made reservation, no issues. Seated quickly, no issues. Server was great, food was great and ambience was good with live music entertainment. Do recommend.

We went to Bowman’s Tavern to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. We had our reception there (it was then called The Forager House) and hadn’t been back since. They staff were super nice and even gave us complimentary champagne to celebrate too! The food was superb!! Crab cakes were amazing with nothing but crab meat. My husband’s steak did not need a steak knife to cut it. And cooked to perfection! We will definitely go back before our 50th anniversary…and plan on celebrating our 50th anniversary there too!

First time eating here, and it was for Mother's Day Brunch. The service, people, staff, valet, food and live music all was excellent. Everything was delicious. And even on a busy day as Mother's Day we did not feel rushed and were there for roughly 1.5 hours. I believe on Mother's Day they limit it to 2 hours. I'll be back for dinner and a burger next time!

The meal was fine. My thoughts are colored by the expensive “special” rib eye, which was a thin piece of steak. Although cooked ok, a steak of that cost should have something more than ordinary. I think the best dish was my mother’s fish and chips, although the sauces that were included had little flavor. We’ll likely be back at some point, as my wife wants me to try the meatloaf and she wants to try the mussels and French onion soup. What will bring us back is the service, as both the wait staff and the car valet service was kind, friendly and attentive.

Good food 🍗 and drinks🍸are to be found at this nice staple of beautiful downtown New Hope,. Though the real star 🌟 of the show is their wonderful music of The Great American Songbook🎵, presented live here on selected fine evenings .

First off, the restaurant required that you supply a credit card just to make a reservation. Who does this? Secondly, in my meal, the spare ribs we ordered we fatty and greasy, collard greens flat and tasteless, and the cornbread wet from collard green juice, not very appealing, Third, we were charged a 4% fee above the menu item costs if we used a credit card (a non-cash fee I think it was called). Forth, we were unable to use a gift card that my son had given me for my birthday. The Waitress claimed that they are "Glitchy" sometimes. Personally, I think this goes along with the restaurant's preference for cash transactions. I'm not sure that I trust the excuse with everything else leading up to this point. On the positive side, the restaurant is in a nice location with good ambiance, but for me, that does not outweigh all the negatives
