Celebrated Mother’s Day with my family. It was fabulous, as always. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was beautiful. Will definitely go back!!!

Jimmy our server was excellent. We enjoyed the lollipop lamb chops. The Butter Poached Lobster Tail was delicious so was the Raspberry Cheesecake . My husband had the Grilled Kansas City Steak. He was disappointed the steak was tough. We would definitely go back.

we went for mothers day with 3 kids under 10. the waitress was nice and attentive. my kids loved using the silverware and felt more mature. limited food menu but great chicken fingers and fries. our food was excellent. recommend the mussels, braised short ribs. my kids complained it was dark but i rather enjoyed it. the decor was nice. the music was great as it allowed my kids to be a little louder and do a little dance. recommend for special occasions

We were there for a nice birthday dinner. Unfortunately, this restaurant doesn’t live up to its former glory. The chicken picatta was gummy not crisp. The steaks were all under cooked. Veggies were good. Dessert was just OK. Really disappointed, probably won’t be back with so many other awesome choices in Lancaster city.

I have been wanting to visit the Belvedere Inn for years and was so excited to finally make it. First impression? I absolutely loved the ambience. Old, dark, cool vibe. My husband ordered a bourbon with walnut bitters (not an on-menu drink). Torn between two options (both on menu), I consulted my waitress who asked if I'd be having one or two drinks, then confirmed my selection of the espresso martini even though it's considered more of a dessert martini (as an aside, I disagree or perhaps am a fan of life is short, eat dessert first). Both our drinks were good. My husband ended up lamenting his bourbon choice (Bulleit) and should have gone with a brand he was familiar with. We started our meal with the lobster and crab dip. This was a treat in myriad ways - first it was full of hefty pieces of crab and lobster, and had just the right amount of Cajun tang. The dip arrived in a cute and miniature cast iron pan on a plate with both wafer crackers and homemade tortilla chips. Finally, it was more than enough of a portion for the two of us (we usually don't get appetizers because we get full fast). For our entrees, my husband got the chicken piccata with mashed potatoes and asparagus. I opted for the pan-seared blackened salmon. (Again I was torn between this and the swordfish.) I went with the salmon so I could try the ramp pesto, with ramps being in season. Usually I think I make the better selection than my husband. But this time - I have to say that I preferred his dish more - especially those mashed potatoes - divine. My first bite of the ramp pesto was very salty, but I found it worked ok with the what-I-found as under-seasoned salmon, which had a nice crispy skin. Problem was - there wasn't enough of the pesto to season the fish the whole way through. I also didn't care for the grits which seemed very soupy and didn't bring anything wow to the dish. I also had one bone. All in all, I would go back to the Belvedere Inn and give that swordfish a try.

The food, drinks and service never disappoint at Belvedere. I had the word fish and my husband had the NY strip special. It was delicious. The vanilla crème brûlée and peanut butter chocolate bread pudding was the icing on the cake. Our server Jimmy was so polite and made sure we were always happy. His suggestions were on point. If you e never been to Belvedere you’re missing out in life. I’ve been going here for almost 30 years and it never gets old. Cheers‼️

I come here every year for a work dinner and it never disappoints. Fantastic service, great bar, amazing food, wonderful experience all around. The mussel appetizer and the scallop main course were delicious. Looking forward to next year already.

As always, the food was excellent. Our waitress, however, not so much. Appetizers weren’t served as requested and when we answered “yes” to would you like more crackers to go with the crab dip, we assumed she was bringing more and not just curious.

We had a wonderful dinner. Appetizers: Lollipop Lamb Chops are our favorite! Entrees were the Fish Special/ the Swordfish. Desserts : Apple Cheesecake/Coffee & Pecan Tart. Everything was flavorful and delicious. Elizabeth was our server. She made us feel special and took great care of us. We look forward to seeing her again in the future.

This restaurant is simply amazing. The food is always great, and the staff is second to none. It's hands down my favorite spot in Lancaster City. I can't recommend it highly enough. If I could give it six stars, I would.

We were out-of-towners visiting for the first time. Heard about it on an Instagram page that it was featured on and decided to try it. The building itself and the decor inside fit perfectly, a nice intimate setting preceding an amazing dinner. The wait staff was very attentive and had an enthusiastic approach. The meals were out of this world. We had the lobster/crab dip, salmon, a steak special, and ended with apple cheesecake and I couldn’t find a negative thing to say about any of it. The dishes were so well plated and it was an explosion of flavor. It was an overall amazing experience that we will definitely return for again.

The building is rustic and very well appointed. The hostess was very polite and expected us. They had called earlier in the day as I had mentioned it was for an anniversary and they asked for my partners name. On the table was a nice small placard wishing Sarah and I a happy anniversary. The atmosphere was fantastic, although it was only 4:15 PM. Our waiter, Jimmy, was very experienced and knowledgeable. The food was amazing. We had a lamb appetizer with eggplant as well as the mussels which were fantastic. For our entrées, we had a pork dish, as well as the duck. All the food was warm and served timely. Our wine was perfectly paired and the after dinner drinks were also good. The pricing was appropriate for the quality of service and food. Afterwards we did sit at the bar, which was very nice before we took a walk in Lancaster. I highly recommend this establishment.

First time here for dinner with friends. We labored over the wine list before asking for a recommendation. Our server, Olivia, didn’t let us down. The food was delicious, the wine was better, the experience was top notch. I don’t mind spending money on a great meal, and this was worth it. From Noah confirming the reservation by phone, to Olivia’s attentive service, we had a great time, and will be back!

We visit the Belvedere whenever we are near Lancaster. It has consistently been excellent - the food is terrific and interesting - the chef is very inventive. Our server the last two times we visited, Jimmy, is very attentive and very willing to make recommendations, which are right on the mark. We wholeheartedly recommend the Belvedere.

We had not been to the Belvedere for a little while. We arrived and were seated in a quieter spot which we appreciated. Ari our server was very good. Attentive but not gushy. Food was outstanding. The scallops were well paired and delicious. My wife had the chicken piccata which she enjoyed. Grilled Caesar salad is always good. Great evening.

This was our first visit to the Belvedere in celebration of the Easter holiday. The inside is beautiful, very much in line with what you’d expect in a fine dining establishment. I ordered the beet and goat cheese salad with grilled chicken. It was good, nothing spectacular. My husband ordered the short ribs which were very good. The Mac and cheese and asparagus that accompanied the entree were delicious as well. My daughter ordered the scallops which were also decent, the whole dish was just a bit salty. For dessert we had the coffee tarte which was outstanding! By far the best part of our meal; I’m still thinking about it. The service was lacking a bit as well but I assume it’s due to us not wracking up a large check. We’d definitely give it another shot.

Jimmy was terrific! Food, outstanding! Wine selection by the glass was very good and prices quite reasonable. We were extremely pleased and looking forward to returning soon for jazz upstairs.

Our server was excellent. We had a reservation for Easter Sunday. We did not feel rushed. He checked on us and anticipated our needs ; we did not have to ask him for anything! Our drinks were refreshing! The appetizers were delicious: Tuna Tostada/ Grilled Lollipop Lamb Chops! The main courses were the Easter Specials: Lamb Tenderloin Roulade /Butter Poached Cold Water Lobster Tail both choices were amazing! Dessert was Apple Cheesecake; scrumptious and Cappuccino. The Belvedere Inn is an amazing restaurant, we will definitely be back.
