Amuse est un bar et brasserie chic situé dans l'hôtel-boutique de luxe, Le Meridien. Le chef, Sonny Ingui, sert une cuisine traditionnelle de bistrot français qui comprend des classiques tels que la soupe à l'oignon gratinée, la salade niçoise, le homard bouillabaisse et l'extraordinaire steak frites maison.     Well, surprisingly it was one of the Best steaks I have ever had. It is a hotel restaurant and not fancy but great for a family dinner. Quite and open.

    This was our first time dining in this hotel restaurant…wasn’t quite sure if we were in the right place, as we walked in, it’s all open and a nice large bar lounge room awaited us. The bartender was fabulous, as he literally took control of the entire room. There was a large group awaiting to go up to a wedding and it was a bit loud til they all left, but he took care of us w/o any hesitation, we picked our seating, he took our dinner order, served every course and everyone was happy and satisfied… I was impressed by him mostly of all!! The food was very good and plentiful, which we both took leftovers home and also enjoyed espressos and Americanos after!!! I would go again, as It’s right close by to everything (City Hall area) and I definitely would stay in that hotel, if I ever decided on an overnight stay!!

    We had a very enjoyable dinner for 3. Portions were generous and delicious. Service was very slow even though the dining room was not crowded. The room is lovely! Neighborhood - not so.

    Mediocre. Slow service even though not busy. Menu is “forced” sounds contrived but execution is lackluster. Few wines by the glass to choose from. Hotel can do better.

    Great hotel lobby bar. The bartender did a great job serving bar and all the tables. The mango margarita was AMAZING!

    The venue was not staffed appropriately. Reservations were not required, open seating. Took over 20 minutes for the table to be acknowledged and served. The food arrived 1 hr later and when asked about the status of the food the server/bartender/cashier (1 person) stated the food is probably up then walked away. Food received was lukewarm and wrong. Terrible customer service not what I expect from the Marriott brand.

    We were sat under a painting with 2x4 wood it was screwed into visible, they told my husband they didn’t have a beer he could see in the fridge behind the bar, and the food was very bland. Would not recommend. They also did not have breakfast available either. Hotel was amazing…. Food not great.

    bartender was cold and rude, food was bland, I should have gotten "toast points" but it was just warmed sliced bread. The drinks were good, but that's about it. Not worth it as a whole.

    The food was greasy and it took a VERY long time to get menus, drinks (just water and a seltzer) and our appetizers. All in all it was a 2 hour marathon. I tipped the server well because it was beyond his control. He was the bartender working the dining tables too, no help. I get that there is a staff shortage nationwide, so I didn't hold it against him. But the food sucked.

    The dining/breakfast in the hotel is super convenient - especially in the middle of the winter, to have everything on-site! It's good food, not super expensive or chic. Perfect for what we needed! Service fast and nice!

    Amuse is operating on a limited basis. This was not made clear during the reservation process. Dining room is not in use. Service is a tables in the lobby. Menu and bar are very limited and staffing tries hard but there is only one person handlining bar and dining. Cannot recommend right now.

    When we arrived, we were told the restaurant didn’t accept reservations. The hostess was aware reservations are bookable on Open Table, but said they shouldn’t be. The hostess was very polite and did her best to accommodate our group, but this is obviously a massive oversight on management’s part. They were able to seat part of our group. The food was delicious and the staff very friendly, but the kitchen was a bit slow. It took ~40 minutes for our breakfast to arrive after being ordered.

    Procuitto tasted like ham. The steak was tough and barely seasoned, needs a sauce or something. Also, it's in the hotel lobby, not in a separate space.

    Went there for breakfast. No one to greet you, very confusing as to where the restaurant is. The restaurant turned out to be the bar area. I found this out by waiting in line at the hotel check in desk, and finally getting to speak to someone. There was no one in the bar area to greet or seat us. There were many empty tables that needed to be cleaned off. I tried to ask the bartender, but was ignored. At this point, we just left.

    I'm only saying I would recommend this restaurant because I'm hoping it improves by the next time we return. It was a disappointment to learn, while we were waiting to order breakfast, on a sparse Sunday morning well before the brunch hour, that the chef was new and, apparently, had no idea how to coordinate order to finished plate.

    Either it's a chronic problem or there was an issue that night they were seriously understaffed the server tried hard but she was covering the entire dining area. There was only one bartender on duty and response time for drink orders was very slow. Wait for food was longer than should be for fairly simple order. On the plus side they have a creative drink menu.

    The sever was warm and welcoming. She was managing a large area all on her own and doing a great job. The truffle fries were amazing. We got the steak frites and pan seared salmon both were okay nothing grand. I think it's a little over priced.

    Worst service I have ever had in my entire life and I don’t say that lightly. Seated at 7:30, still no food at 9:30. Manager took 30 mins to come speak to us about it. We wound up leaving with no food and an offer of a drink to compensate.

    It is very, very rare for me to leave a negative restaurant review. Amuse creates the exception. My wife and I went on a Friday night with a reservation. Very pleasant server greeted us and seated us immediately. But it all was downhill from there. We asked for tap water and then said we’d place a drink order. 20 minutes later she came back to take the drink order; we still didn’t have our water yet. The drinks took another 20 minutes with water being poured when we could flag down someone else on staff. Our server took our order when she delivered our drinks. We ordered a salad to share and two entrees. The salad came 20-30 minutes after we ordered it (all cold ingredients- no cooking involved). And the dinners arrived a full hour after we ordered. The place was only 50% - 60% full at any time so the kitchen should not have been too backed up. Although our server seemed to have an extraordinary number of tables to serve. By the time the dinners came we’d been there 1 hour and 40 minutes, had a half a salad each, and one drink. Since we were hungry we ate it. My wife ordered salmon which was clearly over cooked. And I ordered the stuffed pork loin. It was dry and also over cooked. I always though stuffing meat kept it moist. Not at Amore. Server was pleasant, so one star. Service was really slow (we suspect a staffing issue, not on the server). Water was only poured with multiple requests. Drinks were hard to come by. And the food was poorly prepared. So no stars on the other four items. Would not return. Would not recommend.

    I was looking for a place where we could have breakfast before visiting Christmas village and amuse came up in the search, however, all it really seemed to be was a place for the hotel folks to have a continental breakfast. It took a long time to find a server, and one who spoke English.

    We went here 2 years ago, and the experience was AMAZING. We had a window seat with a beautiful view of City hall, complementary bread and tuna tar tar, and absolutely delicious entrees. We came back tonight hoping for a similar experience and to celebrate a special occasion. Though the service was excellent (very attentive waitress and accommodating manager), the food took a very, VERY long time to get to us (despite being one of 3 tables actually dining in be restaurant). When the food finally got to us, the steak was cold and not great. The ambiance was also very underwhelming. They’ve now moved the dining area to the back of the lobby, so there are no windows with nice views anymore. The room with the beautiful, romantic ambiance (what’s pictured in the photographs on OpenTable and on many websites) is now only used only for business events and meetings. To be honest, the food was not worth what we paid. That reason, plus what I listed above, will most likely keep us from returning. It’s a shame, because I honestly thought this would be our “place” after the amazing first experience. The waitress and the manager were both amazingly nice, attentive, and super accommodating. None of my complaints above were their fault, and they were the only super positive thing about the experience quite frankly.

    It was Restaurant Week, a good time to scout new dining options. The choices were scrimpy and as described by the waitress “Not the same” as on regular menu. So, what is the point of Restaurant Week ? The salad was tiny and served in a too small bowl so the dressing, in a tiny plastic container, could not be properly mixed . The steak au frites was “ a different cut than what is ordinarily served.”...not very good. There were two dessert choices. It was a disappointing dinning experience. It is not very French as suggested ...in a French hotel. It is not chic as advertised . The tables are bare,
