Se joindre aux convives du 59 Almshouse est le gage d'une excellente soirée. Que ce soit un mardi en famille, un rendez-vous galant du vendredi soir ou encore simplement un samedi à prendre un verre entre amis, cet établissement se vante d'avoir tous les ingrédients pour un bon moment! Les clients peuvent apprécier un spectacle de musique ou regarder une joute sportive dans la superbe salle principale dotée d'un plafond de 24 pieds et de magnifiques poutres en bois naturel. Le bar offre une grande variété d'alléchants cocktails ainsi que 20 sortes de bières. Le tout bien sûr, en profitant du spectacle. Pour les clients qui préfèrent être à l'extérieur, il leur est possible de profiter d'un 5 à 7 sur la terrasse. Pour ceux qui veulent s'asseoir pour déguster un repas, on peut le faire confortablement dans la chaleureuse salle à manger principale. La grande vedette du menu ici est un hamburger maison cuit sur grill, au-dessus d'un feu de bois. Mais ce n'est pas tout, il est possible d'y trouver aussi de la haute cuisine américaine comme nulle part ailleurs. À ne pas manquer! The food is great. They give you large portions for a good price. The service was fine. My only negative is that the restaurant is very, very loud. Next time, I will request outside.

A lovely experience. It was nice and lively but not too loud! Food was delicious and the portions surprisingly humongous! Service was impeccable… not overbearing but perfectly available! Can’t wait to go back and try something different. Had the ahi tuna this time and it was amazing!!

This visit was much better than our last. We sat in the dining room this time in lieu of the bar area which tends to be noisy. The service was great as usual. Our server was very nice and brought us our drinks quickly. Kudos to the young man who helped clean up my wife’s spilled wine. He was extremely polite and very thorough with the cleanup. Unfortunately I food not get his name. We both got the flatbread, one margarita and one 4 cheese. They were perfect. The dining room was nice and clean, but a little noisy (at no fault of the restaurant). There was a loud table that which made it difficult to have a conversation with my wife, but we managed. I think the next time we go, I will try and see if there is a quieter place to sit. The food here is top notch and you can’t go wrong. A very nice place to eat and grab a drink.

59 has gone downhill. My husband’s chicken Caesar salad was ok. The chicken was dry as expected. The tuna poke bowl that I had very little sticky rice and left a significant amount of water at the bottom of the plate. I assumed that when they scooped one of the vegetables out of a container that they didn’t let it drain enough. I did not inform the waitress and I should have. This is my honest review. I acknowledge that the restaurant was very busy at the time and the kitchen was probably very rushed.

Always great! Cream of chicken with artichoke soup (special) was fantastic! Steak, beer, tuna, salads —yum! Service was great! Shout out to Victoria who took good care of us.

We were seated in the outside portion near the bar. The noise level was unbearable and I couldn’t maintain a conversation with my table mates. The food was great though, as was the service. It was put first time here and we will definitely return. I will be sure to request a table in the dining room, however.

I was pleasantly surprised by the food. The grilled octopus appetizer was better than many that I’ve had at more upscale places. My Mediterranean salad was excellent also. Our server, Victoria, was pleasant and competent. We will return, even though not in our neighborhood

Outstanding. Food is over the top delicious and it dosen't matter what you order bc it is all fresh, generous portion and good. It is in my top five rotation of restaurants and it never disappoints.

We came in for an early dinner with our daughter and son-in-law. We were seated on the patio by the fireplace which was very nice. Server was very helpful and food was very good. Overall we had a great experience. We enjoy 59 Almshouse and we will definitely be back!

The food is always delicious, no matter what we order. Generous portion sizes too! The only problem is I keep getting the same thing because it’s THAT good! Service is also excellent.

We had a lovely evening with excellent service. Our only complaints were that the menu had way too many options, the food portions were way too large, and my strip steak came out medium well instead of medium rare, but I chose to eat it that way. Cocktails, wine and beer selection were great. All of our food was delicious. We will go back.

My wife and I enjoy dining here. We’ve been here a number of times. We sat on their patio for a casual late lunch, in their dining room to dine with friends and this time sat in the bar area for an early dinner while we were out for a motorcycle ride. Service was great as usual, food was (consistently) good, unique and flavorful. We had chicken quesadillas as an appetizer, their braised short rib (2nd time because it’s amazing) and tried their bleu cheese topped NY Strip special. Service was quick and professional, Casey was perfect! Bar atmosphere was lively but not overly noisy.
