Went for Mother’s Day brunch. Service was non existent. Food was average. Mimosas were meh. The biggest issue was the value. For 3 people it was nearly 500 dollars. There was an automated 20% service fee, yet there was, effectively, no service. If the food were exceptional, could be fine. But it wasn’t, and while the lake is lovely, the decor is wildly outdated. Would not return.

Perfect for a last-minute Mother's Day brunch. Admittedly, pretty much exactly what was to be expected out of a Mother's Day buffet-style meal.

Beautiful view, terrible service. Nice staff but not attentive probably due to lack of help. But, for the process, i would expect a higher level. Food was average.

Zin Bistro is an amazing place to have a romantic dinner. The food was great, even though the prices have gotten out of control. Our waiter was amazing. He was attentive, polite, and knowledgeable about the menu.

We were very surprised how the quality of the food and service has changed. The music was so overpowering that it was difficult to even carry on a conversation. Probably will not return anytime soon.

We were duped! Everywhere online, it listed the Easter Brunch Buffet for $49/pp. When we got the bill, it was $89/pp - no beverages included. All of the other diners around us were saying the same thing. When we spoke with the manager/owner, he said that was an old listing online yet the Zin Bistro website itself listed only past years information. The owner blamed it on Google. Seems like a classic bait n switch. I doubt anyone who was there will be fooled next year. The food was very average...they overbooked so service was slow (but friendly). Definitely not worth it!

We always enjoy dining here. The food is consistently good and we enjoy being on the water. The view adds to the ambience The service was a little slow today, which was kind of confusing since it wasn’t that crowded. I’m guessing they either were short staffed or just not as well organized as usual. Still a very enjoyable experience.

Service was great but the food overall was a disappointment. The best item is the Maine lobster soup, the rest was just ok. Don’t order the bread pudding, it came out cold. The restaurant is nice, server knowledgeable, but the food is not worth the price.

Great band! Tuna Tower was disappointing. Should not have been minced. Won Tons were super sticky and over sauced. Needed a damp cloth to clean up. Halibut was very good. Waiter was ambivalent at best. Did the minimum. Didn’t clear empty bottles, cleared one of 3 app plates. Wanted to take main dinner plate before both were done. Also expensive!!!

Great atmosphere for Valentine's including live music. The food was on the whole really good, however, they did jack up the prices for Valentine's quite a bit. Service was solid and professional.

We are long-time residents of Westlake Village and patrons of Zin Bistro Americana over the years. We had not been in quite some time. Our server was very attentive. The menu is as diverse and eclectic. Our meals were as delicious as ever. It is a joy that Zin's continues to deliver. We sat at an indoor table over looking the lake and the subsequent sunset.

Excellent food and service, however very very loud with loud music, no separate between bar and restaurant in the interior. Will return when we can sit outside or when there is not live music. Appetizers were very good. Steak bites and calamari very flavorful. Highly recommend scallops and mushroom risotto

Zin never disappoints. We had an issue with a sauce on a particular meal. They brought us a new one with the correct sauce and it was perfect. They set our table of 7 up so everyone had a view. It was the perfect place to celebrate our dads 83rd birthday. Food, service and staff were all amazing. Till next time

Had my sons after wedding party here. The view,food and wait service was amazing. They made us feel like family. A beautiful location with cool vibe, easy parking and lots of fun shops to visit after your meal. Love this place.

We sat outside near the water, it was beautiful. Heaters were on and it was very comfortable. The food was excellent, service was great. Will definitely be back.

The dinner was delicious and our server was excellent however the band's music was so high, we could hardly talk. Good band, a little too much for the lovely ambience.

Went back to the scene of the crime-first date with girlfriend a year ago. Its a casual. somewhat romantic restaurant on the lake in Westlake Village. Food is good, service is ok. Nothing extraordinary but it wont break the bank either. It can get noisy with the bar locals but overall enjoyable.

Went in for a nice dinner celebration (noted on the reservation), waitress was absent minded, forgot out appetizer and never once came back after dropping meal off. For the price I would expect better service.

We had a nice booth and the service was excellent. I had the salmon and it had a great flavor, including the sauce. The vegetables were fine, not my favorite, but my sister loved them. I did not order a drink, and with tax and tip it was only $50. For a very nice restaurant that wasn't too bad, as it included 3 of us sharing a delicious cheesecake (from Cheesecake Factory, which was interesting).

Like the corkage fee is only $20!! This makes a difference if we're undecided as to where to go to eat lunch or dinner. Food is great!

Food was fantastic but the server made himself scarce. The music was unbearably loud and made conversation impossible and altogether frustrating. The blood orange martini was the best taste I ever had but don’t think there was a drop of alcohol in it.
